Had a takeaway from the new Asian takeaway here. It was ready quickly but really disappointing. The chili chicken starter was straight from the local supplier, Scallans. We can have it anytime. It was just deep fried chicken strips bought in. The mains were very small. We had Prawn Singapore Noodles - hardly any veg at all except lots of onion. Chicken fried rice was lukewarm, with lumps of congealed rice and way too many peas. Sweet and sour beef came in the same container as a small portion of overdone rice. Beef was really tough. It came in cardboard cartons and even though we ate it within two minutes of collection, it was not hot enough.

Dined here during the week, our first time as we were visitors in Wexford. Well from the efficiency of their online table booking system, to the smiling ladies who greeted us, though extremely busy, to the service, the food and its presentation, there was not even one element of our evening to niggle about. Well done all, 100% across the board!! Highly recommend.

Tuskar Takeaway is a traditional irish chipper using locally caught fish and wexford potatoes. We try to use as much local produce where possible.
We had excellent fish and chips: super- friendly staff, home-made tartar sauce, really fresh fish. We enjoyed these out of the paper, sitting on a bench overlooking the harbour, on a dark, wet evening after arriving on the ferry for an overnight stop. Great start to our holiday.

The head chef Fergal Dempsey has worked in The Shelbourne and The Morrison and also set up Le Bon Crubeen in Dublin to name but a few. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced and chemical free produce. We only serve the freshest of fish so come in and
Just happened to see this restaurant and called in for an early dinner. The room is lovely with a busy buzz. The food was excellent and arrived promptly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and we'll certainly be back. There were queues when we were leaving so you would need to book for a later dinner
