Service was very good, portions also, pricing good for what you get. We were on a sunny day and ate outside. Ovewrviewing the water and the old town. Took the surpise dinner (4 fingerfood starters, 2 mains and a dessert for 39,50) Higher price class but certai nly worth it.

Mr. Sammi is a all-day restaurant, situated in a monumental building in the heart of Roermond. Serving classic French and fusion dishes in a vibrant atmosphere!
Nice welcome. Excellent service. Great location with view on the Roer. Delicious steak tartare with boiled egg. Very tasty!

We liked the location and the people. It has style and the wine is good. But our 3-course dinner lacked inspiration and taste. All sauces appear to originate from bought bottles. Pity. We will come back if there is a real chief in the kitchen.

The most cosy place in Roermond to enjoy a lovely dinner! Choose our Menu to Share if you like to be surprised by our chefs, or go for our Menu to Enjoy (3-course dinner) or Menu to Adore (4-course dinner) if you like to choose the dishes yourself. Rick,
Close to our hotel, and looking nice from the outside (and packed, which is mostly a good sign) so decided to go for it. If it's your first time here, the concept is confusing, because they don't explain anything. We saw a menu next to the door with starters and mains and when we walked in we did not see a single plate on any of the tables, just the small glasses with small bites. So we had to ask ourselves what the concept was. People are really genuinely friendly here (but some mistakes in the service though). The first 3 cold bites we had were absolutely delicious and then the 2 other were questionnable. The mains we ordered were not good (cod fish raw in the middle and dried out on the outside, lacking flavour, risotto little dry and lacking flavour; The choice of wine by the glass is extremely limited (1 red and 1 white) but the white we ordered was very nice. However, if you ask for a second glass, you don't come with a bottle to the table to refill. Never mix bottles in one glass! Also, we had to ask a few times for that second glass, as they kept forgetting (as did they with the desserts of our neighbours). We did not make any remark about the food, but they asked why we did not finish our dish and at that time we shared our comments and they offered coffee on the house, which we kindly declined, but appreciated the gesture.

We searched for an Indian restaurant and found this place to close to our Hotel in Roermond. We reached this place and the staff (lady name forgot to ask but Chef Aruna is aware of this) is simply excellent. Always smiling and hard working. We were on a 15 day Europe trip and our taste buds were getting bland and wanted desperately some spicy food. This place was great and we had some wonderful fusion Indian buries I and some spicy starter and main course. It basically an Indian, Sri Lankan and European cuisine restaurant. The highlight of this place is the fresh ingredients used by Chef Aruna and the wonderful staff. All of them are always smiling and caring, you will certainly feel proud to be in this restaurant. Normally when we travel we never go to the same restaurant however this time we had twice dinner from this place due to their service and tasty food. The liquor was slight high price, a shot costed Euro ten. Food is reasonably priced considering they use fresh vegetables and the ambiance.I strongly recommend all who visit Roermomd to visit Aruna Cuisine who was Chef to the many important people including the Dutch Queen. You will never regret visiting this place and will always talk positive about the visit. Itâs very close from Roermomd center and station.Thank you Chef and see you next year same time. Our regards to your entire team.Thank you so much for your higly recomendation we would love to have people like you always around us ,who can be proud about Our product. Please let us know when you Are coming againg .we Will take car of youOnce again Thank you very much for your visite.See you again !Kind regards,Team Arunacuisine

Our restaurant is located in the city centre of Roermond. A 8-10 minute walk from the central station. Our kitchen is based on nice, fresh products from the region. With a relaxed atmosphere and open planned kitchen is this the ideal place for your dinner
Had a wonderful dinner here with my colleagues! A new, promising place in Roermond! Everything they served was fresh with beautiful and interesting flavours. Each course not only had an amazing taste but also beautiful presentation. A lot of tastes reminded me of my home country which made it even better! The interior of the place is minimalistic, mostly concentrated around wood, which added a very nice fresh and warm atmosphere to the whole dining experience. The staff was very friendly and informed us about every course we had.The prices naturally are a bit higher than average but for this kind of quality I would say the price is fair!Definitely a must go! Will come again!P.s. best bread ever!!! :D

A wonderful restaurant in the middle of Roermond. The atmosphere of the place is classy and it still offers you quite the privacy while you dine ,which we loved. The staff was professional, friendly and attentive. We had a 5 course meal. Overal we really enjoyed our visit. First of all the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. great detail and thought had been put into it. The dishes were also very delicious! However all the dishes seemed similar as we felt that the flavours although good were mild. Quality of the products used was the best you could ask for. They give you ebough time in between courses to relax and enjoy the ambiance. would definatly recommend if you're into fine dining!

A great place for an excellent dinner! This restaurant is rather hidden and hard to detect but it's worth the go. The food was excellent! Loved all the three dishes. Started with a delicious Carpaccio, a must try Toff-stew, mouthwaterig..the meet was done to perfection and services with side vegetables and fries. For the dessert I chose The White lady which was a perf3ft end to this meal. The food is why I give this place 5 starts. Other than that the place isn't that big so when the restaurant is full, which was in our case, it becomes very noisy. We were seated close to the door so the cold wind would come in sometimes, for me personally it wasn't such a big issue but for others it wasn't that pleasant.I liked this place a lot. They do have english menu wich was a nice suprise. As other reviewers have said it's a bit old fashioned but the food is simply fantastic. Big,Big compliments to the chef!Would love to come again!Be sure to reserve a table! Place is popular!

Culinary creations inspired by journeys. Experience gained in top restaurants. Flavors from afar. Regional products. Beautiful wines. Craftsmanship. Local hospitality with a touch of Canadian charm. Restaurant One is the creation of Limburger Edwin Souman
Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!

This restaurant opened by 1/4 in a place formerly known as Veem. The new owners come from a two Michelin star restaurant ( Boreas) elsewhere and settled now on the Roerkade. They call their place Sabero, which is a resetting of the letters of their name Boreas. The chef is in the open kitchen and the lady/ hostess gives you a warm welcome. The menu has quite limited choice , but the lady reassures it will change quickly. Four amuses and fine plates. Extensive wine list, also by the glass.Certainly a fine addition to the Roermond choice of restaurants. Open only four days a week, be sure to make reservation. Can firmly recommend.
