In the old city centre of Lanciano, in the relaxing antique location, we offer you the freshest fish of the Adriatico, handmade pasta, artisanal desserts and a selection of wines, distillery and sparkling wines.
We found this hiding away at the end of our visit unfortunately. It is by far the nicest places in the area. The staff are very friendly, a lovely father and son manning the place. A nice place to wind down surrounded by a lovingly restored place. We only stopped to have a bottle of wine as we'd already eaten, but all the food going passed looked amazing. Will definitely return to sample. and we will be happy to have guests, wonderful people as you honor us, thank you

We stumbled on this one and then heard from resident family members that this was the best place to eat. Sardines marinara are a must. Assorted fried fish and basically anything on the menu. Coupled with the view this was definitely the best seafood restaurant we found in Italy yet.

The restaurant is in Fossacesia, just minutes from the motorway exit Val di Sangro. It is located in a forest near the famous "Fonte Santa Lucia". The restaurant is small and cozy, it has 70 seats, it is divided into two rooms, the first room with panoram

Trabocco is a wooden structure above the sea used for fishing with huge nets hanging off wooden booms usually forty metres off the beach. Some of them during the summer months become fish restaurants. At this particular one it is best to leave the menu to the restaurant. What then happens is that you first get a prosecco aperitif then this is followed by numerous fish antipasti, by pasta tasters and by a fish main course and a sweet to end it all.If you like fish then this is the right place for you as it is fresh and delicious. Of course, the setting is also fantastic as you are poised metres above the sea. However, the structure is solidly built as it has to overcome the winter weather. If I am back in the area I will certainly visit it again. It is always better to book because if you don't you may be turned away.

Best seafood ever. So fresh, so true. This place is the real deal when it comes to fish. Drive down a dirt road for 5 minutes to get into the lot on the beach, walk down the pier about 30-40 yards out in the sea to reach this amazing place. Views are spectacular.Food is authentic Abruzzese seafood done perfectly. The portions are huge so pace yourself because it is all good and a must try. It was a compleato menu so there was the full courses set for this one so you will be able to sample all the excellent courses. The seafood risotto is the best risotto I've even had in my life. It takes the cake, even over some excellent risotto in a choice Milan restaurant. Service was excellent and prompt.

We have eaten here at lunch time for several weeks in a row now as it's the perfect place for us to pick up a quick lunch, of great quality without spending a fortune. The quantity and quality of the food are high and it's in such a great position right next to the sea. We have been made to feel very welcome here, even with our dog Fausto and we will be recommending to friends and family visiting the area on holiday.

I have been in Punta Vallevò restaurant few times and I have been always satisfied both by the service and the quality of the food. The fish is fresh and you can choose between a "myriad" of antipasti (appetizers) and main courses. My favourite dish is the "spaghetti (or any long kind of pasta) allo scoglio" that I am used to take also as master sample to compare the quality with other restaurants.I also liked the location just on the "old" railroad, few meters from the shoreline, suggested for a very romantic "tête-à -tête" with your "alter ego".Dining on the terrace in summer could cause some minor issues with mosquitos so I always suggest to carry a spray repeller.

No doubt about it: the setting here is absolutely stunning. Breathtaking views all around and our hopes for the food were high as we had read the reviews here on Tripadvisor. But alas, we were SO disappointed. The service was nice but unbelievable slow and the fish, which should have been fresh - the place sits right on the ocean for Petes sake - was not. At all! We could smell it as well as taste it and we were just relieved to find out the next day, it didn't make us sick. Just one course was semi okay, so needless to say, I cannot recommend this place. Unfortunately.

We arrived at 1pm and left at 4pm. They have a set menu with many courses of delicious (shell)fish. Wine, water, coffee, limochello all included for only â¬35,-. Really good to have lunch here on a hot summer day. The view and experience of sitting above the Adriatic waves is fantastic. Not recommended for children(it takes to long). Reservation (lunch or dinner) recommended, because the have aprox 10 tables and full is full.

Beautiful and unique location You literally eat in this very old fisherman house called Trabocco , were they use to catch the fish with a very unique method using a very large net handle and manage by long wooden harms .The construction is based on the sea suspended and based on high wood post were all the family also use to live Now these days you can enjoy the maxing food experience surrounding by the wave and sea noise while they serving the very large set menu including most of the local speciality The experience you must have if you are in the area Donât forget to book in advance as they have a very limited seat available
