Things to do in Qingdao
Here on business again in Qingdao which is a great city...Typical style of seafood restaurant in this area with a live aquarium where you pick what you want and get it cooked however you like.Good selection of dishes cooked in really tasty ways - razor clams in a spicy sauce was excellent!Service was very good and it has all private rooms so just a nice evening with colleagues and associates.

Very nice local restaurant with specialties from Qingdao. Both the æ¶¼ç® and the fish dumplings (black ones are probably the best) are great, soups are also nice. when crowded can be a bit noisy but definitely recommended to taste local specialties.
Located along the DengZhou road restaurant row. This restaurant carries a very comprehensive range of fresh seafood: fish, oysters, scallop, prawns, sea urchin, abalone you named it. I tried the fresh sea urchins and oysters. They were huge and fresh. The garlic steam abalone was tender and tasty. The salt fried prawn was done just right and the meat was still juicy. The steam seafood dumpling is the house specialty and overflow with flavorful juice as it melt in my mouth. Compared to many other seafood restaurants in Qingdao, the dishes here were a lot more refine. The restaurant setting is bright and airy. Most important, this restaurant appeared clean and hygienic. I was told that the QingDao beer factory is just down the road and the beer in this area is one of the freshest.

Treated ourselves to 5 dishes, glass of Chilean red wine and bottle of beer for RMB538 incl. - which I think is great value for the excellent service, ambiance and great food at Shang Palace. Would be twice the price in Shanghai. Staff were attentive without being cloying. Out of the 5 dishes we ordered, 2 were seafood. One large live fish (2 jin) which was steamed beautifully, a large plate of clams, pork ribs, spicy beef pancakes and a braised tofu and pork. Yes you pay1/4 of the price outside at a local restaurant but not with the same service or wine, and the food was just delicious - many standards above your usual local fare. Very enjoyable. Well done Shang Palace - we will be back when we go to Qingdao!

Was good seafood restaurant in Qindao China - had lunch there. Sorry no English name. Would like to review.
I dine at Haidao Yucun Hotel very often whenever I visit Qinggdao. It is actually not a hotel but a restaurant. This time, I took my friends there. And they all loved the food! It was fresh and the prices were reasonable.

Had three meals at this restaurant in 3 days. The seafood dumplings at this restaurant is the best comparing to other highly rated local restaurants I tried, 5-20 dollar per plate, it's not cheap in China standard, but they are really delicious. Other seafood are pretty good, I tried Singapore style chili crab, steamed clams, abalone, steamed fish, etc. Mostly seafood are cooked local style, very tasty, and a bit on the pricey side. Service is mostly prompt, but my last meal was during peak hour, so we had to wait for a while before all of our dishes were served. Overall a very good restaurant, and I would recommend it if you are interested to try some local food.

Nice Place, Loccation In The Famous Street Cafe, The Owner Is Italian And Also The Chef Is Italian, If You Like Really Italian Food Is The Right Place
Loved the authentic taste of Italian food right here in China where itâs so difficult to find good western cuisine. The Chef is Italian so I Guess you could call it authentic. Not too expensive, I would say itâs reasonably priced! Well I was very satisfied!

Highly recommended via TripAdvisor but a bit disappointing. It took us 45min to get a table due to some unclear ticketing system but what the heck; as long as the food is good. The special black dumplings filled with seafood are very nice indeed as are the small spicy clams and flower beans. But the fish was over cooked, the octopus not cooked well enough. And the service poor.
