Went down and tried a brand new restaurant during our recent visit to Punta Gorda. Absolutely the best meal we had during our entire trip! The smoked BBQ ribs were out of this world! Some of the best I have ever had. My son went for the burger like he always does and it was phenomenal, all hand made, even the meat blend. My wife had the teriyaki chicken, normally she is a pretty picky eater but she even cleaned her plate. Service was excellent and the location over the water was an added plus.bwe even watched stingrays and fish swim right under us during our time there. Was so good we are going back tonight.We appreciate your kind words, and so happy that you enjoyed our food and service. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

My boyfriend Jim and I had dinner at Mangrove. The owners were fantastic people and made us feel comfortable. The food was great. I had the snapper and Jim had the snook fish. Everything seasoned to taste and fantastic. The town is cute and the people friendly and helpful. This restaurant is a must if you come to PG. I highly recommend it.

A friend of I stopped by for a pizza one evening and it hit the spot (although maybe it was a tiny bit salty) -- and the price was right. There were several other traditional Italian dishes on the menu that looked inviting. The service was friendly and timely. My only complaint was that there was no beer or wine.

Actually the restaurant was closed, as Joycelyn had friends for a little party coming in. but she accepted us for dinner, and four beers and two hours later we really got our dish (no menue, no choice) with breaded fishrolls, a large tortilla and beans, together with a spicy yellow ginger sauce. it was very tasty, and we enjoiyed the long waiting time.

Love Ashaâs! Seafood and veggies are fresh and tasty. Loved the Whole Snapper and the Cracked Conch. Super reasonably priced as well. Nice ocean breeze...and Belikin!!

We stopped by at Gomier's when waiting for our dumming lesson that was going to happen just around the corner. Gomier is an incredibly interesting person and we loved his smoothies. He told us that he has been thinking about quitting his business and retiring on his farm though, so you should go and check out his place while you still can. Unfortunately he was closed when we came back for a late lunch after our lesson, so we didn't get to try his food, but the smoothies alone would have been worth the trip. :)
