We find this restaurant nearby our hotel and can warmly recommended. The restaurant himself is nothing special but the food is very tasty and local. Made with care and proud. The team are very friendly and helpful. They have also a small market if you want coke or ships to take back to the hotel. The prices are very local in comparison with the hotel who will take 5 times more for the same dish but poorer in flavours. Try the steamed baramundy fish with ginger and lemon or the squids with black pepper or even the fried vegetables or spinach with garlic or oysters sauce and you will come for more.

We visited this restaurant, 5 mins walk from Taara's on a couple of occasions. Good Malaysian dishes such as mee goreng, nasi goreng, fresh fish and great iced tea. We ate for MR 77 for family of 4! Best restaurant in walking distance of hotel frequented by tourists and locals.

We were looking for a place to have super late lunch and Asmadi is the only available restaurant near Taaras. The location is a 10 mins walk from Taaras. Just go straight from Taaras main entrance until you see the Klinik Kesihatan signboard...it's on the right, after Hazeme Seafood Restaurant. You can ask Taaras to send u there. The food is good and the price is affordable. Would definitely recommend to go.
Waited more than 1.5 hours for dinner. Food was very tasty but not sure if it's worth the wait. If you're lucky there may not be that many people.
