Beautiful Victorian style house, located on top of the putting green of the Playa Dorada Golf Course Artisan home made italian pasta, pizza and old traditional recipies, freshly prepared by Chefs Stefy and Natale from Rome Limited space and reservation su
This is the second time I have dinner at this place and the food it's really amazing! My favorite dish are the pappardelle homemade pasta with cacao and pears. You will be disappointed if you come here for a quick meal, as this is an artisanal cuisine, takes extra time to get the food on the table. So my recommendation is to have a drink and have no rush to enjoy the experience. A reservation is recommended as well to get a better service. Walking distance from all the resorts in Playa Dorada, with a very attentive and friendly staff, great italian food in a cozy and wonderful environment.Thank you for your comments, that help us to improve and make the best experience possibe to our customersWe hope to see you soon againRgdsJose M Espart AlbertiGeneral Manager

A fellow traveler recommended this little spot right on the beach and it is a winner! From the best mojitos we've ever had to delicious, beautifully presented fish! Excellent calamari, too! All while gazing out at a gorgeous stretch of beach. It was so good we came back twice more during our visit!

El Carey is a fabulous little bar/restaurant right in the sand beside the ocean in the gated community of Costambar which is 3 miles away from Puerto Plata. We rented a house in Costambar for a week and became "regulars" at El Carey after out first visit! The main part of the restaurant is a covered open air area with gorgeous views and nice breezes. There are also tables with umbrellas right in the sand beside the ocean. The food and drinks we tried were all good. The Pina Coladas were wonderful! The fresh burgers were also delicious! We can't wait to go back! :)

What a great place to unwind and enjoy such delicious food! The service was fantastic! I wanted something on the menu that was not prepared and they had no problem accommodating my menu selection. The atmosphere is incredible! We sat and watched the waves and the boats while enjoying our lunch. So relaxing! Go to Aguaceros & you will not be disappointed!

We were recommended by our driver from the hotel to try this out as my husband wanted actual Dominican food. Dominican food as it turns out isn't really my thing. He tried some goat and shrimp mofongo. I had grilled chicken and white rice. It just wasn't my flavor profile but it was very busy with both tourists and locals so if you're looking to try Dominican food or you already like it, give it a go! I thought it was nice that they brought out hand sanitizer for us before we ate. That was thoughtful!

Right next to Casa Marina Beach Resort, this restaurant overlooks the new beach that nature has created over the past decade or so years. Lovely view across to Puerto Plata and Mount Isabel de Torres. Love to sit with a Santo Libre and watch the sun go down.

I was looking for "a new place" to go for soft dinner with wife and kids, and after reading all of the opinions here, we decide to have our own experience with the restaurant. It was difficult to get the address, but once you enter their website, it's done. The food was excellent and the size of the portions are quite enough for an adult; the prices are quite reasonable too.I definitively recommend to visit Sam's B&G

We visited this restaurant during our recent vacation to Puerto Plata. The place was very nicely decorated, and was right next to the town's plaza & church. The food and the service were AWESOME. Our waitress Yaneri Vargas was GREAT! Must go while in Puerto Plata!!

What an excellent end to my vacation! My decision to have dinner here on my last evening at Hotel Paradise which is only 5 minutes walk away from Passatore was the best decision ever! The food is simply to die for! Being as the wines at the AI area of the hotel is not what we Europeans are accustomed to, it was an absolute joy and a pleasure to dine at this superb restaurant which I might add, has also an excellent choice of wines. Thank you to each and every one of you and a special thanks to Jose for making me feel welcome.

Celebrated my 66th Birthday with Tomas. Of all the restaurants in Puerto Plata, Le Papillon is where we wanted to be. Tomas served me bonus cut of beef and 2 huge lobsters. All done to perfection. The Ladies meals of chicken curry and steak Beerniese were given excellent comments. My friends, you donât need read many reviews to find out Tomas knows what Heâs doing, and treats people right. If you donât go yourself, it is your loss. You will not be disappointed. Tell Tomas Hungry Man sent you, remember reservations are needed.
