Lovely gents serving the best Fish'n'Chips in Potters bar. Hardworking business selling really nice selection of food. I'm vegan so only hubby has the fish - but we travel in from our village to buy his fish from this place - which is saying something!

I had driven past this place hundreds of times and not taken any notice. Then after reading a positive review online decided to go in. I wasn't disappointed, really good fish and chips, great service from a family run restaurant. Give it a try. It's now my first point of call for takeaway Fish and Chips.

The chip shop is both eat in and takeaway and was quite busy on a Friday evening. There were several servers/fryers behind the counter but despite this the service was so slow and at times it looked as thought no-one was actually being served. Despite this the fish and chips were well done and the portion sizes were huge.

Welcome to Chippers! The perfect place for traditional authentic fish and chips and fresh locally sourced, inspired seafood dishes
Went there twice for fish and chips (thought the menu is not limited to it). Come hungry - fish is huge, batter is great, mushy peas are to die for, I had no space for chips (which were just OK in comparison with the rest). My mother in law who came from US and wanted her fix of British fish and chips was very pleased, my demanding wife was raving about maoynnaise (she loved the fish too!). The service was very nice, both personal and warm. Highly recommended.

Usually frequent the excellent Fish and Chip business in the Parade, just behind the centre of Goffs Oak Village, which is really excellent, if not pricey, but you get what you pay for, so no criticism! However, pushed for time and having friend unexpectedly arriving to stay, got three fish and chips suppers; Fresh fish and tasty chips, so another venue discovered and at a great price. Excellent quick service.

Greek Cypriot food using only the finest ingredients and cooked with passion & love (Meraki).
I am surprised at all the effusive reviews or perhaps I am hard to please. The food was good and the service friendly but I would like to visit again to see what I must have missed. I visited at a quiet time so there was little atmosphere but that does not bother me. What I did not like was the decor/tables/seating which is just functional, dark and not welcoming. The addition of some colour or even good quality white tablecloths would not go amiss.

Just 4 of us for a fish and chips meal. The service continues to be helpful and friendly. Not everything on the menu was available but that still left a more than adequate selection. The food was freshly cooked to order and it showed. Very decent quality and quantity. Will certainly go back in the future.
