Fantastic tapas, recommended by our hotel. Waiter spoke excellent English and was very helpful advising us on the local specialities, highly recommended.

The restaurant is very good. The location is in front of the small harbour and with modern design. There are a lot of fish / shellfish to choose. We tried some of them, all very good. Wine list is also good and the people very kind. Absolutely to try if you are in the area.

We came upon this little place traversing Spain's coastline, thankfully as there were few spots to eat prior to peak season! Surprise - outstanding venue! Best fish I've ever eaten ~ after struggling with our "food" translations, came upon the mixed grill - highly recommend it!

We stopped casually in Porto do Son attracted by the Celtic Fiesta but for dinner we freferred the porto quiet area. The restaurant is well equipped and trained, with a professional staff. We enjoiyied a fantastic pulpo a planca with potatoes; Padron's pimientas; absortimiento de quesos; cheasecake. We drunk with Albarino a local withe wine. Don't miss stop here!!!!! Superba cocina gallega!!!

Closest to the port as the sailing club house restaurant isn't open it of season it looks. They have a â¬18 menu that doesn't change and only has a variation on it between pulpo or razor clams. Both good. If you ask they do have alteratives. No English but that has never stopped me going off menu. Ice-cream in a cone (Cornetto) was the surprise when I ordered what I thought was a cake. Ha.

We were looKING forward to visiting this restaurant having read the previous recommendations. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience. We were the only two people in the restaurant, the waiter rushed us from start to finish. Our meal was completed from initially receiving the menu until payment of the bill in about forty minutes. Our prawn starter was beautiful but was spoiled by the waiter hovering to remove our plates before we had completed the course. Our main course arrived immediately, the fish was ok, I felt it was over cooked, it was burned in spots. Once again the waiter was hovering with dessert menus while we were eating our main course.I was looking forward to the meal in this restaurant but was very disappointed, maybe I hit it on a bad day but even though I was staying in the area I would not go back. There are better restaurants nearby.
