Very delicious meatball+tomato sauce; lasagne was good but not as good as the meatball. Would be nicer if could be heated longer.

walked to the harbor to see the sunset. First time here an had no idea where to eat. Most of the eateries on the harbor were full of 20 somethings...we're cool 60 somethings so not too interested in the noise or trying to impress ;-) just wanted a local place to enjoy a glass of wine, beer and good local food. I think we found it. Mostly a take out which was packed with people ordering calamari served in paper cones. But they have a small dining room and as English speakers we were sort of a novelty. Hardly knew what we were ordering, but it was fresh...and I love calamari, so...First the artisnol bread in a wood basket, wine and beer. Next course was my nice fresh salad with those yummy Italian olives. Next came the fried calamari and spaghetti w/shell fish. Pretty dang good for the price and quantity. I really felt we were eating with the locals...all patrons knew we were foreigners - amazing how you can always tell.TV in the background had the Pope celebrating Easter...I tried to engage with the (I'm assuming restaurant owners) we had seen the Pope at the Vatican the day before! We all tried to communicate with big smiles sufficing when language failed. We found we could always find someone who speaks some English (thank goodness) which is so helpful and usually fun and funny. If you want local color, good decent meal, take a chance on this little gem and take a pass on the flashy competition on the harbor.

Was looking forward to visiting this restaurant, which was close to our hotel and had good reviews. The food itself was good though portions were slightly small, especially the vegetarian ravioli.Sadly we found the staff unattentive and not very friendly.Overpriced and disapointing overall.

I find it hard recommending this restaurantThe food was decent, but for the price it not worth it.The sea bass was good but it the most expensive sea bass i have eaten (40 euro), and i have tasted better. The salads was completely tasteless, no dressing at all.The other dishes were fine.Dear Erez. Thank you for your visit to MM Lounge Restaurant. We are very sure about quality of our product and we are really sure about competitive prices that we offer. But we respect of course your feedback. Viva lo Re

We enjoyed our visit in this cozy wine restaurant very much. The ambiance of this wine-"library" was a pleasant place to enjoy a glass of delicious wine and dinner. We had their complementary bread stuffed with cheese along with calamari, cuttlefish, wine, chocolate cake and a chocolate mousse-type dessert. The sauces on our main dishes were fabulous to the point we sopped up the remaining sauce with bread. The chocolate cake was superb. If the house wine was that good, one can only imagine what the others would taste like. We were happily shocked when we got the bill; it was only EUR 48! We have spent that much or more in other places for mediocre food. Wish we could return several more times. We highly recommend Viva lo Re, several blocks from Herculaneum.

Our honeymoon had the most perfect start with 2 nights at the Masseria. Everything was impeccable, from Emmanuella and her staff who were so charming and friendly, to all the little details like the welcome message and champagne on our arrival. We had such a fantastic time we woukd come back in a heartbeat. To anyone who has the luxury to stay at the Masseria I recommend the room with the hot tub on the terrace, you can sip on champagne while you watch the sunset over the ocean, it's pure bliss! The restaurant is also fantastic, and their super friendly sommelier is on hand to help pair delicious wine with their delicious food, he can also make an incredible g&t!

We chose this on the basis of online reviews, and it fully justified our choice. The staff were a little surprised to see us: this is not a tourist restaurant, we were the only non-Italians there, and they only have the menu in Italian. But they were very hospitable, and the menu was mouthwatering. It was slightly daunting as it was clearly structured for you to have a four-course meal, but they didn't bat an eyelid whn my wife ordered a starter and a secondi, and I ordered a primi and a secondi. And they were all excellent: the meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and everything else lived up to that standard. The wine-list was one of the most extensive I have seen, with wines ranging from 14 - 300 euros a bottle. We went in at the modest end, and had a bottle of local Gragano (a red wine from Sorrento) which was delicious too. We were right only to have gone for two courses, too: we were completely full by the end, and able only to enjoy a couple of excellent coffees before we left. Lovely food, and friendly, helpful (if surprised) staff made this a very enjoyable evening out.

Having looked trip advisor we decided to try this restaurant. It was a 25 minute walk from our hotel in Herculaneum but boy was it worth it! We were welcomed warmly by the owner who apologised for his English - which was remarkable! We thoroughly enjoyed the three courses he brought us - freshly caught fish freshly cooked. The bill was 50 euros which included two bottles of wine and a bottle of water! Needless to say we booked again for two days later - and had another fab meal.Thank you Michael and Nicola Solomon

Oh dear.My wife, daughter and I visited today. I wish we hadn't.Nothing was too much trouble. Literally, doing nothing would still have put them out.A bottle of indifferent wine, we ordered antipasti followed by a main course, which all arrived at the same time, along with bread which was plonked on our table as a waiter went past. My daughter and I ordered bruschetta, which came out as tomato on toast. My daughter and partner ordered rigatoni with four cheeses, which was apparently tasteless. I had spaghetti e vongole bianco which was also tasteless. We've just had an argument with the waiter and the 'chef'. He seems to have admitted that there was no gorganzolla in the four cheeses, but has suggested that it was for our own good. I really would avoid this placehi ... I wanted to inform you that he was wrong to review the restaurant, since he did not come to our restaurant. from the photos he published and from the menu he described, he never came to us! Please delete your review. thank you
