Une cuisine généreuse où la spécialité reste le poisson et les fruits de mer tout en proposant des grillades, charcuteries, tapas et viandes du pays catalan de grande qualité. Le restaurant a une salle intérieure climatisée et une grande terrasse avec vue
What a great restaurant......very welcoming with us having three under 3s too. Superb set price menu, drinks and perfect service. We will be going again soon! Thank you for a lovely Sunday evening finishing with a brilliant Latin American band in the performance square.....we stayed with our table all night too......absolutely fantastic!

We arrived on our motorcycles in the heat of the day, looking for a light lunch as we still had several hundred miles to travel. We ordered sea bass, I felt it would be quick and light and wanted to be on our way. Another waiter appeared going on about tuna, we said sea bass, he seemed persistent about tuna, thinking that it came with the dish we agreed. Some minutes later a tune starter arrived! Then the long awaited sea bass arrived too, both meals were very nice, the sea bass especially so, I did enjoy it.But ever felt that you were talked into a starter you didn't really need?We paid the bill and I did leave reluctantly, time was passing, as the restaurant is in a nice setting with sun shades. A bottle of wine would have been nice.....

We take our breakfast here when we are in town. We get one savory Gallette and one sweet crepe and share. the view is good for people watching, watching the Navy Seals train and the delivery trucks drive on streets designed for donkeys. The guys who work here have been here for years...almost like family.

The restaurant is about a 10 minutes walk from Collioure's main center, overlooking the beach of Faubourg d'Avall and facing the castle, the church and the scenic bay of Collioure with the mountains as a backdrop. In summer it is hard to find a table on the terrace if you have not made a reservation, but the inside was quite nice as well. The food and the wine were excellent, especially the baked oysters with scallops (as a starter) and the very fresh Saint Pierre, The lobster was good as well, but slightly overcooked.

To my undying regret, the old, noisy, bustling crie, where you could order oysters to be shucked in front of you, seated on stools at the small zinc counter in the heart of the old shop, has been transformed (at considerable expense no doubt) into a flash, anodyne, touristy-type seafood bar above the shop and round the corner from the old establishment. Freshly shucked oysters in front of your very eyes gone, to be replaced with "shellfish from out the back", like everywhere else. Unique originality replaced with mass-market flash & chrome in an unnecessary and over-the-top setting. What a disappointment. Interestingly, they still use my photo from the original location at the top of this entry - don't let that fool you, it is no more!

We visited here on the recommendation of the gardener in our villa in the mountains an hour's drive away. We were down on the coast for the day so made a point of tracking this place down. We had a lovely walk around the coastline after parking on the road just before the tunnels. It's not too far to walk but took us ages as we kept stopping to look at the amazing views! When we got there it was half an hour before lunch time opening (12.30) which just gave us enough time to retrace our steps and go in search of a cash machine as we didn't have enough cash on us - no cards accepted. To be fair, this is made clear on the boards outside and it is pointed out to you before you order. We sat right next to the shore as the waves crashed on the rocks below. Our dog (who was made very welcome) settled down under the table to watch the sea. We were greeted and served by two different people - the owner and his daughter, maybe? Both were very friendly and helpful, explaining things as best they could in English and humouring our attempts at French! The menu is quite limited, but then I find all the best places are like that. They prefer to concentrate on quality. And they did not go wrong with this. The tuna tataki and sea bream main courses were out of this world. Desserts were also amazing - something chocolatey and something lemony! Both delicious. The setting couldn't have been more perfect, the food truly outstanding and the service excellent. I expect it would be even more magical in the evening.A perfect lunch. If you're in the area you really must track this place down.

We ate here and had the fish of the day special. We ate in-doors.The food was tasty, and of a good quality. Portion size was reasonable though not overly generous. Wine that accompanied the meal was excellent. Cost was towards the higher end for what we received. Service was friendly and very good.

Accueil de groupes,séminaires et autres sur demandes.Équipe jeune et attentive à l'attente du client.Terrasse agréable
We ordered the swordfish (espanad) and it arrived with a great selection of vegetables and sliced garlic potatoes ( plus the extra pommes frites ..again sliced thin plus solid); an overall generous meal on a wide plate filled with food; a glass of recommended rose topped off a lovely meal reasonably priced. The waiter and all staff were terrific, welcoming and service oriented.A great find in a tourist town with too many overpriced restaurants with small servings of food and arrogant owners!

Ate dinner here on our last night in Colliore and we weren't disappointed. This is primarily a shellfish restaurant, but they also have a selection of tapas. We ordered mussels (outstanding) and a selection of tapas with a really nice bottle of wine. The food was very good indeed and the service is excellent. Highly recommended
