We had great fish and chips, the clam chowder was really tasty, and sitting out on the deck above the water made it a perfect lunch.

The Cape Cleare Salmon Wagon is always a great opportunity to get your hands on carefully caught and prepared salmon, whether fresh, frozen or canned. Itâs delicious. I always look for it at the Port Townsend Farmerâs Market. Hurry, theyâll close the market Saturday December 15 until April.

We had not visited this restaurant since the change in ownership, but were pleasantly surprised. The service was super-attentive, and the atmosphere very welcoming. I very much enjoyed the bento box, which came with a delightful selection of dishes: all texturally different, but all delicious and enough to share. My husband was a little disappointed in his entree scallops, which arrived on an plank with an accompanying bowl of rice. Not what he expected for an entree, but maybe he just misunderstood the menu. We will certainly be returning to this conveniently-located local spot.

Ate fish and chips late afternoon, and the staff was down to one very pleasant but overworked cook/server/cashier. My portion was very small, and very breaded, and slightly overcooked; but tasted OK. Chips are chips. But the Cole slaw was bland, and the "tarter sauce" was pretty much mayo, I think; but with no sparkle or acid. And there was a huge slice of Texas toast on top of the order - that was a surprise, but maybe the menu mentioned it as I had forgotten my reading glasses. So to pass the time until the order arrived, I watched the ten or so flies buzzing around trying to get out. Fish (2) and chips and a lemonade ran $18, before a tip. Bottom line: Doc's Marina Grill and the Silverwater Cafe serve much better fried fish and excellent Cole slaws and in a much more pleasant environment.

We came into town almost before closing time and were delighted to find the Cafe open. The only way to be closer to the water would be in it! Cocktails, beer and wine are served. Varied menu with a wide selection of chowder, salads, seafood, steaks, sandwiches and burgers. The chowder and Rueben sandwich were very good! Staff is friendly and attentive too. The ferry landing is located nearby. Interesting to watch...Highly recommend a visit.

In June 2012, we opened our second Doc's location at Point Hudson Marina in Port Townsend. We felt that the peninsula location was a great next step for Doc's, and we haven't been disappointed.
Docâs knows how to make an excellent Dungeness Crab Louie: a reasonable mound of shelled crab meat atop a bed of mixed lettuce surrounded by a pile of diced tomatoes, half a sliced hard-boiled egg, sliced cucumbers, and red onion rings. The dish of wonderful house-made Louie dressing on the side was just the right amount for dipping all of the treats. Next time I need to try the Crab Risotto!

David and Alison have owned the Silverwater Cafe since its opening in 1989. They have built the restaurant on the idea that bringing people together to enjoy good food, good wine and great friends is one of the most important things in life; and the desir
A charming, warm, and welcoming place serving delicious and interesting, but unpretentious food. Every dish from appetizer to entree was the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The service was absolutely first class, too. We recommend the sugar snap peas for an appetizer, and the clams with pasta was outstanding. The chili-rubbed red snapper fish tacos were supremely flavorful. We highly recommend this restaurant!
