Charlotte Fish Depot is a fish market - store front - have supplied fish to many local restaurants for years & is now open to the public - we read about them & headed over last week....wow - great prices - lots to choose from and everything is fresh fresh, fresh...you can also choose to buy frozen.....we bought incredibly delicious perfectly cooked steamed lobsters and mussels which were huge - salmon was wonderful, also purchased (frozen) lobster bisque & clam chowder..prices are very good - take a look at their web site and decide for yourself. The store is ultra clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this "market"....where the word FRESH is what they do best! charlottefishdepot.com

No, I'm not complaining about the ENDLESS SHRIMP they still offer on a Monday, but the service today was atrocious!!! I just read another review that said "you'll wait endlessly for shrimp" and that certainly was true today. After Zoe, our waitress, had brought the cheese biscuits and coffee, we waited 25 minutes and nothing else had been served. The people in the booth behind us who arrived a few minutes after us had already been served their meal!!!!I actually got up to ask the hostess what happened to our food order. Shortly after that we got served. She brought us 4 servings of the same shrimp, never asking if that was our choice.Coffee and water needed refills and she indicated that she was on it. Another 10 minutes later, still no coffee or water. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!! We drive over 30 minutes to get here, and try to make it about once a month, but never, ever have we had this bad service experience. Hoping it will not happen again....because we do love our shrimp!!!Hi, mamamia70. My wife, sister and I stopped for lunch a few weeks ago and we were all a little underwhelmed. I had a fried oyster po boy, one of the specials and the oysters were rubbery and had way too much sauce. The macaroni salad was also very strange. Very small macaroni and dry. The fish my wife and sister was better, but there's a lot better fried fish in the area. Hi This is Lisa over at RJ's I'm sorry the poboy was not to your liking. You should have told your server so we could have made it right or got you something else. We have been selling a lot of the oysters and haven't had any other complaints but then again some people just don't say anything. Our macaroni salad is made with elbow pasta with minimal mayo. We could have fixed it up for you or got you a different side. Our fish is Haddock and most people are very satisfied with it. Again I'm sorry it wasn't to your liking. I do hope you'll give us another try and be sure and let me know if things are not up to par.We are here to make our customers happy.

We recently visited this restaurant and although it was very busy and there was a 25 minute wait to be seated, everything that we ordered which was Haddock, cole slaw andfrench fries.were all excellent. This is not a fine dining restaurant but the service was very friendly and the fish was fried perfectly which we very much enjoyed.Although desert was not offered,we did not mind as we we full with our 2 pieces of fish and fries and cole slaw.

We had trouble/unconfirmed bookings and were getting a bit frustrated, but we showed up and we're welcomed in. We had oysters and a shrimp cocktail, then duck and salmon! Everything was fresh, tasty, well presented and really enjoyable. And the wines were lovely too. We enjoyed a beautiful buttery Chardonnay and some Pinot. The jazz trio played throughout the evening and it was fantastic to hear live music as we dined. We will be back - next time we are in Florida!

Fun and intimate comedy dinner theater! Friendly greeters/hostess welcome you immediately. Our server Lori was hands down the BEST we've encountered thus far. Lori is beyond helpful and attentive. We were in for the Thursday evening Jon Lovitz show which was sold out. I don't know how, but Lori anticipated our drink and orders with perfect timing. Visani's PLEASE let us request a table in her section next time we are there. On top of the outstanding service, the food was, as always, dependably delicious. Top Notch, and worth the trip even if there isn't an international headliner performing. As for the comedy... Jon Lovitz hit it out of the park. My sides are still splitting sore from laughing so hard for so long. Mr. Lovitz you did not disappoint. Thank you!!! Apologies, I can;t recall the name of the opening comedian (I know he is from Ft. Myers) but he was also refreshingly witty and funny. Overall Perfect Evening Out!
