Absolutely wonderful fresh food, expertly cooked and presented! Great views! The best (and most!) tuna I have ever had. Octopus and squid skewers were so good. Lovely, friendly staff. Having read the bad reviews, I find it hard to believe itâs the same restaurant. Weâll be back; a gem!

A small family place with a decoration quite kitsch, may be not on purpose. The waitress was super friendly, speaking excellent english and knowledgeable about the dishes and the wines. The chef invented a very good and original dishes for the 2 vegans. It's rare to find a chef so flexible. The fish dishes was our best so far. Perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Very reasonable prices. We will come back for sure!

4th time this year we have visited.Staying in hotel over the road but prefer a quiet intimate meal. The food is tasty ,well cooked and great value,a simple menu so you know stuff is cooked fresh .Staff are welcoming and attentive.Tables outside in gazebo when weather is warm but it is heated outdoors too.Even in winter it is mild enough to eat outside if you're from u.k .Will return next time we are over on holiday .Dear guest and member of Tripadvisor, we like to thank you for your kind words and to let you know that you will be always welcomed at our restaurant Dona Nina

A new Restaurant with a modern and minimalist space using traditional and local materials with endemic pieces. Food is local to the island of Madeira with a couple of mainland and international dishes. A high quality service provided by our experienced st
Quirky little place with interesting decor that is basically down a back alley! We were advised to order off the sharing menu, which was effectively one main and one side per person. We got some delicious garlic bread to start and ordered shrimp with lemon and garlic, chicken with soy sauce and ginger, sweet potato micas (mashed sweet potato with shredded cabbage and chorizo) and a mixed salad. The food was tasty and full of flavour, although what we ordered didnât quite compliment each other as a meal. For deserts, we ordered a lime semi frio and a chocolate semi frio, which was both very nice. The lime had a nice citrus kick to it.The staff were very friendly and our waitress spoke very good English, although the place was deserted while we were there!

Your holiday is incomplete without a visit to Come Together where people make friends and friends meet friends. Come for a meal stay for a drink!
It really is! We have been coming to Madeira for 20 years and have dined at âCome Together â since it opened and Mary and Eduardoâs previous restaurant always a very warm welcome and the food never disappoints. Fish with banana, salmo-on-the-stone and many other dishes that never fail to delight. With music on Saturday and Sunday evenings is just like a family party. Couldnât recommend more highly and canât wait to return Tony and Valerie Green, Wiltshire

As a couple of others have noted this is odd this is at number 1, we arrived 11.50 and told they werent serving food, when we asked when they could they said 12pm so we insisted we sit and wait for kitchen to open. other customers turned up after us and their order was taken before ours, there was no local bread just as another review says. and the menu only had 4 options. food was very average im afraid. dont go here expecting an amazing dining experience.

3 people out of 4 were happy with the food, however, the food took over 1 hour to be served(I estimate 1h and 20minutes). There is no joke. We were with a 9month kid and the wait killed us. Fish of the day was not good. The risotto with seafood was very good.Dear Customer Thank you for wasting your time writing your poor comment and scorning a very low score. It is difficult to accept your review because you not being completely honest.Since you and group arriving at the restaurant you have had all the support of our staf from beginning to the end of dinner.-Our food is all freshly cooked -Your fish of the day was not to your liking because we waited 20 minutes to serve because you been away during that time to try to calm down your baby.Your Dinner since you arrivale takes 38 minutes to cook during the time that you are way.-"The wait killed us" just as you said because the baby did not stop crying and you feelt embarrassed at the other customers.Dear sir your absence from the table during you food was send to the table bot had too be send back to the kitchem since your and wife were not there ,with the rest of the group waiting for you to start dinner. As you saw that night we had the restaurante full off customer therefor you need to be a litle more patient because we love to serv you perfect prepared meals how is our habit. We sory you had a bad experience in our restaurant and will do everthing to rectify it.We are aware that we offer the best service and food possible to thouse who have visited us to this day ,please call again in future SinceryFranco

Absolutely brilliant place. We just wandered past it a couple of days ago and thought it looked nice so booked in . We were disappointed it was amazing. Staff were really knowledgeable. Particularly liked the black scabbard fish and banana with a difference. Went into trip advisor and was pleasantly surprised that it is number1 restaurant in Funchal !
