We went there for lunch, they have an good daily turistic menu for 445 pesos. Mussels were excellent as a starter, fish with drakar sauce was tasty with zucchini gratin and pommes noisette. Fruit salad with fresh fruit, nice as well. The place is really pleasant, away from the traffic, which isn't always easy to find in Uruguay with a shaded terrasse. We will definitely go back there.

All 3 of us enjoyed our seafood. We expected the high prices ($20-30/person) but I think of that as partly the price of admission to a place with a spectacular view and excellent food. Not fancy or stuffy. Had an English menu which was a big help. Portions were big so I could see us splitting but then I couldn't repeat the Salmon Roquefort as my wife doesn't likely expiration-imminent cheeses. When looking for it, if coming from the west, pass through the main part of Piriapolis and one feels you are leaving the town. It is situated right below the rambla with boulders for its coastline.

there are unforgetable meals and this sweet, small, amazing restaurants has given us more than ameal but an experience of generosity and quailty that we wont ever forget.Starting from Fernando , that everything his hands touch is impecable and from an open heart, we we're welcomed with free openers . we were let to feel at home with the great decor of the house and the sweet huerta and finally the fish, the vegetables and the Calzone we're the most delicious we ever had!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Drakar. Too bad it is only open on weekends at this time of year. We had the tourist menu, which included mussels, and a very fresh white fish with creamy "Drakar" sauce, and flan for dessert. Service was very good, even though they spoke limited English, and we spoke even more limited Spanish. This is the best restaurant we have found in Piriapolis!

Elderly chef and nice waitress operate this unpretentious restaurant. We had small local fish available with various sauces. Choice of garnishments: mashed potatoes, fries, salad or mashed calabasa. Inexpensive house wine is adequate. Taste and quality of food is barely adequate. We do not plan to return.

The menu offers a rather limited set of options but all dishes are excellent. Very nice wine selection, friendly staff and lovely views of the sea. I highly recommend it.
