We really enjoyed our meal here. Quality was excellent. Service provided by Jessica was exceptional which included meal provided timely and hot. Knowledgeable waitstaff with excellent food portions. We welcomed this meal value after being on the road and were looking for some home style service in which we received.

Lunch specials are a great value for the area. Choose from several entries (it has a huge catfish out front - get the catfish) and get unlimited "vittles" for under ten dollars. Place is a lot bigger than it appears from driving by. Service was fast and friendly and food was good. I especially like the coleslaw and hushpuppies.

Try the burnt ends appetizer. It was delicious. I had the combo dinner with ribs, chicken tenders, and pulled pork. Served with mac and cheese and corn casserole, both good. Hubby had a steak, ribeye I think. Steak was average. They only have their signature bbq sauce and it's vinegar based. If you don't like vinegar based sauces, you're out of luck here. Tried to get a side of the spicy bbq sauce but was denied and can't remember why. This was our 2nd time there. The first time we were there to try the ribs, and someone recommended we try again and get the steak.The ribs are passable, but not straight dry rub smoked and served. They are basted in bbq sauce, too, so remember the vinegar bbq sauce comment above. Atmosphere is nice, staff are friendly. Wait staff were somewhat slow, but nice enough.

My wife and I enjoyed a very good meal at Harpoon Harry's. There was a short wait despite many unoccupied tables; don't know the reason but I'm sure there was a purpose. Service was friendly and attentive. My fish was properly prepared, flaky and moist and my wife's crab cakes were among the best she remembered having. Had to order a side of hushpuppys, none come with meal, but were worth the extra expense, as they were crisp on outside and soft inside, again among the best we.ve had. Would definetly return.

Food was very good. Shrimp was excellent. The chicken tenders were very good along with the frog legs. My wife loved the clams and fried oysters. We will be back.
