Had dinner here on a Monday night and was pleasently surprised to find out main meals a were two for one. The resturant is joined to th Beehive pub, and also has s takeaway option. Very nicely decorated and furnished the surrounding are very pleasant. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I had calamari starter (£6) and cod and chips with mushy peas (£13 but 2 for 1 on Monday). Both were really tasty, hot and an ample portion. I live on the Kent Coast where fish and chips is a local speciality, POSH fish and chips would be up there with the best of them in my town. If you want great fish and chips are a reasonable price you won't be disappointed.

Parrotts consists of 3 sections, takeaway, cafeteria and restaurant. We opted for the restaurant which is located upstairs. The area was clean and tidy. We ordered the Senior Citizens special which consisted of a large piece of cod, chips and tea or coffee, all for £7pp. There is a wide choice of other items on the menu. Children's meals are available. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was plentiful and of good quality.Considered to be good value for money.
