Giovanni's Cafe, a hidden gem of great food with a cozy atmosphere located inside Pines Professional Campus, west of I-75 in Pembroke Pines. We have been serving our delicious homemade Peruvian and Italian cuisine since 2009 in our 190 seating space with
It is a cozy restaurant with nice atmosphere and lighting. It has a full bar.the food is modern and traditional Peruvian with some Colombian dishes.I ordered the jalea which is a fried seafood in ceviche sauce. It was plentiful and delicious. The service is excellent and we had the pleasure of meeting chef Tulio, he was kind in sending us a new appetizer with Colombian chorizo, polenta, onions and red peppers. It was outstanding. The are now open for brunch on Sundays and I am looking forward to go this coming one.

My husband and I came here because we had a Groupon. It was a drive for us, as we are in Boca Raton (a solid 45 minute drive, and with traffic, an easy hour!). But we were NOT disappointed! It was smaller and cozier than I anticipated, but that did not bother us at all. The service was wonderful - very attentive and friendly and also very fast. Food was DELISH!!!!! Great ceviche. Best paella of my life. And a really cool menu with lots of great options. Want to go back, like, right now. Just wish it were closer!

Oh Ceviche is a great local spot for Peruvian cuisine. Their selection of dishes is very ample and the service is excellent. I visited with my family and we enjoyed their food, which was perfectly executed. We ordered "Causa rellena con pollo", fish ceviche, aji de gallina and a few other dishes, all which were excellent. Portions are good sizes and prices are decent (mid range $12-$20). The place is not very big but the ambience is good. The owner (or manager?) approached our table several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Their dessert menu isn't that great, but we did order a cuatro leches cake and a maracuya mouse, which was amazing!!!I strongly recommend this place. Awesome taste and great atmosphere!

Vinnie's Lobster Bar is a "must" for us when vacationing in Florida. Our recent dinner with friends was once again very enjoyable and satisfying. Our outing began with Beer Battered Asparagus and Lobster Bisque for appetizers. LOVED the asparagus! Perfectly fried and served with a yummy sauce. My husband and friends, again, raved about the Lobster Bisque. For the entrees, our group selected Snapper Francese, Snapper Italian, Long Island Duck and Fried Shrimp. I apologize for not providing details of the ingredients but needless to say each one of us LOVED our choice. Cannolis and Espresso with Biscoti finished the meal. I think you will also enjoy the "vibe" and decor of Vinnie's.Thank you so much for your special review. So glad your enjoyed everything. We take pride in our food, service and ambiance, and find it very rewarding with a great review.Thank you Vinnie/owner/chef

I was taken here by a client. Casino restaurants normally strike a bit of a warning note with me, but the client said the steaks here are âlife changingâ. Hmm, I thought.Starters - chop salad, crab, shrimp - all very good. Not amazing, but very good. Others enjoyed the oysters, but I donât eat oysters (a friend spent too long in hospital after eating one, but thatâs another story). But the council oak bacon - wow - I could just eat that all night, on its own, nothing else. And Iâm a Brit, given the slightest excuse Iâll explain at length why Americans donât understand bacon. This was superb. Then the steaks. Wagyu New York strips. I asked for mine rare and thatâs how it came. The menu doesnât say what they cost and I wasnât paying, but I suspect itâs a lot. Whatever it was, it was worth it. Iâve never eaten a steak that came close. I suddenly believe all those bizarre stories about how the cattle are raised. Melt in the mouth? Yeah, and then some. Words fail me. It was wonderful. Desserts were superfluous but I the client ordered them so I tasted them and they were nice. Iâm not really a desserts person though. We had wine as well. A Pinot noir, and a Tuscan red. Again, I didnât choose them and I suspect they were expensive, but they were very good.Squinting across the table without being too obvious, it looked like the bill for 3 of us (we all had the Wagyu New York Strip) came to something over $800. Well yes, but for those steaks, I might even consider spending that much of my own money if I ever go back.WOW! Glad you enjoyed the steaks and the Wagyu. Looking forward to having you back.

Iâve been visiting this restaurant for the last year with colleagues. This place has never disappointed. Their ceviche is good, their dessert awesome, their beer is good and their hospitality even better. This is a hidden Peruvian gem in Davie. Dr. Eric Jimenez

I never have anything bad to say about this place. The staff is super friendly and so is management. In the rare case they do make a mistake management is quick to make things right once they are notified. Iâve been going here for years and will be going back.

After reading lots of reviews I wasnât sure what to expect, howver, I was pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked in until we left, the whole experience gets an a+...with one shortcoming and that was for my husbands water...they never refilled or offered to refill the water..he ended up drinking mine. We were seated right next to the bar in a booth...not a problem. They donât serve hard alcohol but they did have beer and wine. We were not rushed through any part of the evening. The appetizers were all very tasty along with our entrees. We had muscles, seared scallops, octopus and Brussel sprouts for our appetizers between 4 of us. The brussel sprouts were spicy but delicious!! We all had specials and donât worry they will give you a sheet of specials so you donât have to listen and try and remember what they are. If I could remember the names, lol, I would share. Two of us had a fish..paiche...I think itâs called ... a fish from the amazon and it was really, really good! No fish taste at all! Everything was beautifully plated! No room for dessert and we will definitely go there again! Soon I hope! 100 percent recommend! Donât worry about dressing up too much..dressy causal worked fine for us...which included nice jeans and top.
