Went to Passau and stayed in a nearby Pension. Went purely on speculation, the staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant well decorated. Had entree, main and drinks. Meals were first class, alcohol very reasonably priced. Told them their meals were better than Venice or Rome where we had been recently. Pretty sure many will enjoy this restaurant.

We went to the restaurant whilst in Passau for a couple of days. We weren't pushed to order at all and didn't feel like we were being rushed whilst eating. As well as this, the food was honest and absolutely delicious and the portions were large. The dishes were also cheap (under â¬70 for a 2 course meal for 3 people with drinks).Overall, we felt it was a great meal and would have returned the night after if we could have!

Always a hearty welcome from the owner/manager.Do not miss this restaurant if you live fish: lobster soup and - of course - their signature dish. But best of all is their sole. Always fresh ( but on booking a table pre-order the sole or you might be disappointed. It costs around â¬30 but worth every penny - do not get robbed off elsewhere with so-called fillets of sole for ⬠20 which are anything BUT sole!
