New decor... same fish. We each ordered different dishes. Baked potato not fully cooked. Fish and hush puppies greasy. Fries and okra room temperature. Tilapia severely undercooked. Nice new clean building inside and out. We'll try again; perhaps when they are busier.

This restaurant fares a little better than Krystal. It is almost never busy, probably because of the lukewarm, overcooked seafood. The âserviceâ is a polite name for people waiting on you. With so many great local fish camps, there is very little reason to spend your money on this chain.

I know that King Crab is expensive but restaurants typically offset the little amount of crab they give you with "filler". No attempt is made to do so here. The attached picture is what you get for $40 dollars. 2 claws, a leg, 2 small potatoes, and 1/3 of a corn cob. No sausage, no mushrroms, no garlic, no lemons...nothing else. I chose to have mine steamed with the garlic butter on the side. My wife got the standard seasoning. The flavor of all seasonings and sauces was good but simply could not make up for the lack of food. Also, we were given no utenstils to be used for the crab or vegetables, no crab crackers, and no meat pullers. The waitress was attentive enough but we had to send her back individually for each utensil item instead of her simply bringing out all three at once. The ambiance is decent...southern rustic feel. Wholeheartedly not worth the money, however, if you want a decent (tasting) boil, dont feel like driving outside of orange park, and dont mind paying for more than you get...it'll do.Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. We of course apologize your meal left anything to be desired, but hope you were able to enjoy it overall. Your comments are noted and appreciated, and we hope for the chance to serve you again.
If you plan to use a Groupon, avoid this place. We had friends come from out of state to celebrate my twin nephews birthday and we planned to eat there after the kids went to Bravoz. We told our friends that there was a Groupon if they were interested as they have four people in their party and we had four people as well. Well, they bought one and we bought one also. We were two separate families, that arrived in two separate cars and sat at two separate tables. BUT, because we KNEW each other, they REFUSED to honor one of the Groupons. We explained that we were separate families and it would be separate checks, but the owner continued to say it was against Groupon policy. The fine print clearly states one Groupon per table. We were at two different tables (one was a high top and one regular as we had a disabled person with us). So, bottom line, we decided to eat elsewhere and my friends and I have contacted Groupon for a refund as I canât give business to an entity that doesnât honor their own discounts and are rude about it.I am sorry you feel this was as we sold many groupons and you are the first one to say we do not honor the group. I was told when you came in to eat you said you had a party of 9 and you picked the 2 tables you sat at. so as far as staff was concerned you where 1 party please look at the fine print on Groupon. The Fine PrintPromotional value expires 120 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as gift(s). May be repurchased every 30 days. Limit 1 per visit. Limit 1 per table. Valid only for option purchased. Came here with three couples. We were seated in a booth and were greeted with a smile. The server was willing to describe any dish and helped us make decisions with great recommendations. We all tried different items and everyone loved the food. The salmon special was a big hit as were the plantains. Salads came with dinners which was also a nice bonus. The sweet tea is very sweet so if you need to ask for half n half I would suggest that next time. We were so full we did not try dessert and still took food home in a to go box. The seating area is small so when they are packed it was pretty loud. We will definitely come here again.Thank You so much for taking your time to give us a review. Hope to see you again.

We walked in right at 11 when they opened and chose an outside table overlooking the nearby marina and water. The waiter gave us about 5 minutes to get situated and look over the menus then took our drink order. The drinks arrived in about 8 minutes and we ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer. They were perfect. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the waiter to come back around to order our 2nd round of drinks due to the influx of customers. I ordered the fish sandwich with fries and the wife had the rare tuna. All was excellent. We finished and left about 12:30 and the place was filling up quickly with customers.

Came here from a local's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. Ordered steak and crab legs. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was top notch and food was very reasonable. This place may look a little unassuming when you drive up but don't let it fool you, you would definitely be missing out!

Great Seafood - Reasonably Priced - Served with a Smile Locally and family owned & operated for over 30 years. Our restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy fine seafood, cooked to order. We serve fresh seafood in a fun atmosphere. You can choose from the
WORST place and meal I have eaten in for the last 10 years. I cannot think of anything worse. Ordered grilled salmon (medium rare) - came overly well done and ALL people at the table had to taste it to verify is was salmon. The place is from the 1970's. They have not done anything to it since then. The bathrooms are disgusting, the whole place is dirty, and the food is horrible. Ordered bisque soup and got a bowl of milk. AND, they charge BIG prices. They must obviously hide under the guise of fried, fried, and more fried. If they fry it, you don't really taste the cheap frozen garbage that is under it. I would not go here for anything. We have a very large group coming in April and we will advise ALL to stay away from this place. Must admit our server was very nice....she was so nice we did not even bother to complain. We took our lumps and just left.

Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere. I had the Mahi fish tacos. My buddy had the all you can eat shrimp basket. The tacos were excellent. The shrimp was never ending and very large. Not very loud so a good conversation was achievable. Will go back many more times when in the area.

Took my mother and father here and was very disappointed. We were sat in a little room where there was a sliding door. Come to find out, this was the restroom. Everytime someone went into or out of the restroom the door would hit my chair. There were flies all over. I can't give an honest opinion about the food, by the time the food arrived I was so aggravated that I couldn't enjoy it. Will never return.
