Me and two girl friends went there for a late lunch. the food was really salty, we had better Okinawa food elsewhere and was disappointed with the food there. It was highly recommended on one of the tourist map as really local and authentic Okinawa food. Donât go.

The strictly selected beef-steak by âRyuâ is from the cows born and reared on the Ishigaki island. Above all, the best part is the taste of a steak, cut from a cow which hasnât been used for breeding. It is an ultra-soft beef-steak. It will be served with
Unlike other places you get your own private table and do not have to sit with new 12 best friends. This is great when on of the other group is loud. We where two but they had 3,4,6 and 12 serving places. You have distance from each other so you can talk to your group and not be hearing others. Also you can share with your group easily if you just order a bunch of different things and everyone has some of all of it. Fried rice with garlic is worth extra cost. Now this is not a cheap place but it is not that much more than others for a much better quality. You can go crazy at $65.00 a plate. English speaking after 1400 each day and they have a wine list either by the bottle or glass. Should have reservations as there is limited seating. Oh yah also English menu so you know what you are ordering :) Small parking lot which is not a problem except if you have the big van like I have. American's got to love us and our big cars.

Just ten mins walk from Intercontinental. We went there 3 times in a week, tasting always something different but the sashimi, that is so great and fresh!Once we had the lobster (fantastic), another time the beef on hot stone, delicious. The place is cozy, in front of the sea.Prices are ok.

This restaurant is new. We found it by accident as we were strolling around to find somewhere interesting. It was on 2nd floor with 2 entries but they are the same restaurant, we chose to sit on chair side instead of tatami side because my mother suffers from knee pain. The service was impressive. Smiles everywhere, the staffs were extremely nice and welcoming. You can feel their passions towards running this restaurant. They explained to us detailedly about the dishes and also their recommendations. We ordered stir-fried goya with eggs, grilled chicken (whole), Agu pork, Ishigaki beef and some sashimi. All of them were good, especially grilled chicken and Agu pork. The meats was tender and cooked just right time. You can say that this restaurant is not the cheapest one, but talking about service and food, they were excellent. Definitely have to recommend this restaurant.

About Us We are Yakiniku restaurant centering on local Okinawan meats of a superb quality that are purchased daily, with a particular focus on prefectural brands such as Ishigaki beef or Agu pork. Our vegetables on offer are local and like the meats are p
Restaurant is opposite Nakama Steak house, a short taxi ride 550 yen, from Okinawa Marriott Resort & Spa. Set meals of only pork, pork & beef, only beef. Ala carte of other Japanese n okinawan dishes. Pork & beef well-marbled. Meat & raw local vegetables in miso dip very tasty. Set meal is for 2-3 persons who are small-eaters. Cant read Japanese ask for menu in English. Overall reasonable price for meal abt 30% price of similar meal in Okinawa Marriott Resort. This was one of the reasons for not eating again in the hotel restaurants. Local Orion beer also refreshing & inexpensive. Your reservation is also shown on board outside the restaurant. We know you have a large choice of restaurants to choose from, and with that in mind would like to thank you very much for coming to Ryukyu Yakiniku NAKAMA. The driving concept behind our store is local consumption of local produce; representing Okinawa. Ishigaki beef, southern pork, as well as Okinawan cuisine made with local ingredients. Because we have a diverse array of customers from many different backgrounds, we also have Chinese and Korean language menus in addition to our English edition so anyone can enjoy our hospitality without worry. We also offer a drop-off service to neighbouring hotels such as the Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Busena Terrace etc so if you ever find yourself back in Okinawa, so by all means make use of it if you would like to eat some Ryukyu Yakiniku without leaving the comfort of your hotel on your next visit here. For customers who make reservations, we always state the names on the store board at the front in an effort to make the experience as welcoming as possible. It would be great f you could take a commemorative photo with the sign at the shop and keep it as a memory of the trip. Thank you!

Seriously, it's nothing special. The grill fish (chef recommended dish) is so so. Hot pan is just gimmick. Lobster is ok as they put some cheese (or similar thing) on it but not served hot and is pricy. Haven't tasted for sushi or sashimi as no one in the restaurant is ordering it.

We visited this restaurant outside of the high season and the place seemed to be very much liked by locals. At the time of our dinner, we were the only (foreign) tourists in the place. We spent four days in the area and this was our favorite place to eat. Service was very good, like most of the time in Japan. Very friendly people too.On a global standard we would rate this with four stars but to local standard certainly deserves all five. Very nice fresh seafood provided; we had local seaweed (a bit like fish egg texture and taste), deep fried calamari, bbq fish, boiled lobster with cheese and local very nice bitter melon. Seafood is fresh and overall very good. Fish was bbqed just with salt and was very nice. Half lobster came with cheese topping and maybe some mayo or so inside, which I would have left away had I known it. The calamari was battered which took a bit the taste away and maybe it was also a little bit overcooked. Still all very good. The restaurant is located on the second floor (or first depending on the culture) in a white two or three story building. Interior is modest but very cozy and the view to the East-China sea is beautiful. In order to enjoy that, please go early before the sunset.Restaurant is located on the beach road somewhere between the Renessance Hotel and the Hotel Moon Beach. Maybe one to two kilometers from both of the places. Walking distance if you like. With a couple of beers we paid USD 70 or so. Without the lobster would have been USD 45. Very nice experience and good value for money. Domo arigato.

I really liked this location a lot here on Okinawa, it's a little more secluded than other places and a little expensive, BUT IS SO WORTH IT! They make everything really well and it all tastes delicious, and also the owner is really cool and isn't afraid to speak his mind which I loved. We really enjoyed having you all last night. 7 racks of ribs on top of your main dishes will get a little expensive, I agree to that. but you guys killed it. Hardly any take home LOL Thanks for coming "Home" hope we can see you all more often.Warren & Family
