My husband and I were out for a ride on a late Sunday afternoon, around 4:30 pm. We were treated with âWeâre out of lobster, lobster rolls, scallops and fish tacosâ. We were left with about 6 other seafood choices or a burger. My husband had whole belly clams that were loaded with sand and I had a fish sandwich that was so soggy the bun fell apart.

My husband and I rented a cottage for a week in August at Hawks Nest beach. We spent many hours at the tiki bar which overlooks the beach. The food was great, especially the sweet potatoe fries and the Tuna/avocado wrap. Prices were also very reasonable, and some days they had live entertainment. The place next door...The Pavilion...well, we're in our mid-40's and that scene...a little too...um... not our thing...

Casual waterfront dining located in the Brewer's Dauntless Shipyard. A bit hard to find but defintely worth the effort. Abby's Place serves American cuisine with a flair, specializing in fresh, locally sourced meats and seafood.
Terrific veggie burger with pesto. The crab soup was very good and the chicken sandwich was tasty. Our waitress was very accommodating as was the owner. Unfortunately the waiter had an issue when we arrived and asked not to be seated next to the door as it was very cold outside and didnât want our two year old granddaughter to be subjected to that. We simply asked to be seated at the adjacent table that had a reserved sign on it when he told us that they had a reservation. We informed him that so did we and he didnât seem to understand arguing that they had called ahead which we informed him that we did as well. Finally the owner came out of the kitchen and placed us at the âreservedâ table we had asked for originally. It could have turned ugly but we appreciated the owner settling the issue.

This restaurant is truly a gem. From the moment you walk in it sets a tone. The service was outstanding. The food fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. We had oysters, octopus, ravioli (special lobster and mushroom) and swordfish all absolutely to die for. Our only disappointment is not leaving any room for dessert. I can honestly say that I canât wait to return. Reservations are strongly recommended we were there Saturday 7:45 and the place was packed.

I reserved a private room for an event during the brunch time. This is my third time having an event at Fresh Salt. Ellen, Liz and other staff were all super accommodating, easy to work with and helped us with another memorable event. Heather was designated to our room and was great at keeping things smooth. The buffet was delicious, plenty of variety for all my picky eaters. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Our cake (special order) was spectacular. The raspberry mouse filling was delightful, refreshing and so moist. Thank you for meeting all our needs and exceeding all of our expectations yet again! Mgwis,Thank you kindly, it is rewarding to all of our team to receive your compliments.
