Their specialty and claim to fame is their fried stack of seafood. It's battered fresh seafood with lots of vegetables. Its worth getting. It's a photographic moment. They have specialty catch of the day. We had fatty tuna sashimi slices. It would be many times more expensive if we ordered it in another restaurant. This place is not fine dining. More casual fare but they do have sit on the floor area.Good choice for this area.

Serving locally caught seafood that you grill yourself at the table. Selection of other dishes also available. Menus available in Japanese and English. Fresh, tasty seafood. Focus on shells - all local - Oysters, scallops, clams, crab, etcEasy to find at the Numazu Port (Seafood market street) as it is under the Deep Sea Aquarium.Parking can be busy but there is a big car parking building 2 minutes walk away at the end of the street.

The shop located on the small street in front of the fish market is just a tiny fish restaurant with a mood called "fish bank itself". Every morning, the fresh fish bought down in the market is lined up in the shop, but customers can choose a favorite fis

This restaurant is on the second floor of Numazu fish market, you can look at the fish market on the first floor, walking through a corridor on the second floor. I ordered a bowl of rice topped with various raw seafoods and a set meal about fresh slices of raw fishes at lunch time, these were so delicious that I was quite satisfied.

Yesterday we travelled by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Mishima to see friends for a couple of days, First off we went to this great seafood restaurant for lunch, very busy, completely booked so we wrote our name in the waiting book and had a look at the fish market place across the road.As people left they yelled out the next name on the list and in they went, we were called after about 45 minutes.Nothing flash about this fairly big place , after all every one was here for the food not the decor, it is very traditional, nice feel about it. Staff were busy , very friendly and it did not take long for our meal to come out . We had the Horse Mackeral Sashimi , a fried fish & prawn combination and also a very tasty kaizen kakiage. The whole meal was delicious and well worth the wait, it is quite common in Japan to see people waiting to eat at popular restaurants, always a good sign of top food .Bookings are not accepted so go early or be patient if the place is full.If you park in the multi level car park nearby as we did take your parking ticket with you as the restaurant will reimburse you all or part of the parking fee, a nice touch ,For the real authentic seafood place go here for sure.

Had the Yamasho-don for lunch. Came about 45 mins before lunch time to queue and had to still wait for a bit (but not too much). It was howeve worth the wait as the donbui was really delicious!
