We visited this restaurant on the outskirts of the town. It is situated on the main road towards St Jean de Monts and has good parking. There is a terrace as well as two main dining rooms. The atmosphere is quietly 'old French' but not stuffy. The staff are welcoming and able to communicate in English. There is also an English menu which descibes the ethos of the dining experience as well as giving written and pictoral help to facilitate making an informed choice. We tried both the lunchtime and dinner service and were not disappointed with either sitting. The service is relaxed rather than formal but there is also an air of good old fashioned attentive service from the young waitresses. Our meal was excellent, as was the choice of wines, the food being flavoursome and well cooked. Nothing was rushed and we found the cost lower than one would expect making eating here excellent value for money.Hello and thank you for sharing your experience. Visited this lovely place on the recommendation of trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. Although during peak season book as its booked out every evening. By far the best moules on the vendee. It's that old cliche do one thing and do it well and this place clearly does that. A variety of moules and combinations that you wouldn't think of putting together such as moules bolognese but it works.... Promise. Brilliant value for money, and the two ladies that run the place are wonderfully friendly and even tolerated our attempt at French. Well worth a visit.

We didnt tax the kitchen much just ordering fresh seafood on the shell. But it was well presented and served.A deceptive place. Looks better inside than the outside might suggest. Dont overlook it

We meet for a family lunch at Les Navigateurs. We got a table for 10 on the deck facing the view to Noirmoutiers Island and the beach. It was very nice in the sun. The service was courteous and efficient. The 3 courses menu had 3 choices per dishes with all meals made in house with fresh food. Food was simple, wine was mid range but still great value at 25 Euros per person including cafe and with a water view away from traffic .
