Discover Restaurants offering the best Seafood food in Northern Cape, South Africa. The Northern Cape (Afrikaans: Noord-Kaap; Tswana: Kapa Bokone) is the largest and most sparsely populated province of South Africa. It was created in 1994 when the Cape Province was split up. Its capital is Kimberley. It includes the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park, part of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, an international park shared with Botswana. It also includes the Augrabies Falls and the diamond mining regions in Kimberley and Alexander Bay. The Namaqualand region in the west is famous for its Namaqualand daisies. The southern towns of De Aar and Colesberg, in the Great Karoo, are major transport nodes between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. In the northeast, Kuruman is known as a mission station and also for its artesian spring, the Eye of Kuruman. The Orange River flows through the province, forming the borders with the Free State in the southeast and with Namibia to the northwest. The river is also used to irrigate the many vineyards in the arid region near Upington.

We had been told about the restaurant and decided to make a booking for Sunday lunch...without fully realising it was 120km from Springbok - most of the distance being along pretty poor dirt roads through the Namaqua National Park.Happily we made it unscathed and on time and were treated to a veritable feast of crayfish, prawns, crispy battered fish along with an array of freshly prepared accompaniments. The restaurant is unashamedly rustic so don't expect linen napiery or crystal glassware BUT you will leave with a contented smile on your face, glad that you braved the crazy distance travelled to get there.
Beans Talk offers a unique restaurant experience for our local food lovers, with intricate, yet wholesome plates to share and traditional larger meals, made with seasonal local ingredients. Great quality & delicious food, with regular menu changes.
My mom and I had the most delicious breakfast. Started the morning with a latte and finished it off with a Husbands Choice and a Crispy Breakfast Burrito.I cant wait to go back and try the other dishes.Well done Rhona!

At Ocean Basket Kimberley you'll find friendly people, a home-from-home feeling and great value for your hard-earned bucks.
Ocean Basket in Kimberley at the Diamond Pavilion Mall is without doubt one of the sea food restaurants that time and time again gets my vote. Food is delicious, appealing, fresh and always a first choice for me whenever I visit Kimberley. The staff and management is always welcoming and friendly. Love their offerings ,their side orders as well as the affordable pricing of their meals. Parking is secure and right in front of their establishment. It's a yes from me.

Under new ownership! Mar-e-Sol is a fully licensed family friendly pub. We show rugby and other sports. We have an amazing menu, inside and outside dining area.Come join us for a great dining experience!
If you want to mix with locals this is the place to be! Owner Rozelle is very knowledgeable on the diamond industry and loves to tell about it! Her personal approach makes you feel at home. Enjoy drinks and honest food! No fresh fish available due to strict quota for fishermen. We were very off season so not many quests at the restaurant expect for some locals. We had fun and enjoyed the numerous stories and local atmosphere. Thank you Rozelle!

Nemos has a good view over the Harbour area and is enclosed by awnings to keep the chilly wind at bay. We ordered milkshakes which were very good. The burgers were average. Not disappointing and not worth raving about. Just average. Worth a stop and a quick visit to the museum next door.

This little "hole in the wall" bar and restaurant is a real winner. Great view of the beach, unique atmosphere, cozy fireplace and informal picnic style seating. Very reasonably priced. Try the crayfish soup or the black muscle soup both served with "bunny chow".

It was a freezing cold day in Port Nolloth and we needed some good old food! Vespettis is on the seafront and although it was foggy, you could still hear and see a bit of sea. We ordered pizzas, or fish and it was divine! The service was fast and the food really good. The children polished their pizzas and I had the grilled hake with sweet potato mash. I could easily have eaten a second plate as it was really lovely. All in all, we will definitely go back again.
