This is a good value choice for Japanese all you can eat buffet. There is a good range of options- sashimi bar, a number of nigiri and maki which are laid out as well. They also have a hand roll station. There is a carving station for beef , tempura, very good fried rice, a range of Japanese dishes. The dessert area has an extensive range of cakes and sweets , and there is free flow beer and wine along with many soft drinks. The quality is ok, this will not be the best Japanese food you have but it is pretty good overall and you will be satisfied. The value is incredible for what you get, only about 540 NT for adults and 360 for kids under 12.

In principle, Iâd give 4.5 stars as it really is a good restaurant with very friendly waitresses (who even speak a bit of English, especially the elder lady owner)... the only âproblemâ was that I had eaten in the sister restaurant (right opposite) the night before. Dear kla2015Thank you for sharing your "problem" with us and we are delighted that you visited both our Umeko Taiwanese Restaurant and Japanese Restaurant right across the street from each other. There are very few restaurants in Taipei over 50 years of same-owner history, we are very proud of this fact. Only been to the Italian restaurant Gustoso at 2nd floor twice but both my hubby and I love the place and food. The burger here was incredible and the lobster looked amazing. I cannot wait ti come back and try the lobster. Reasonably priced for quality food. Smart interior and welcoming staff.
