Just moved back to New Braunfels after a few years. There are many new restaurants in the area, especially near 306 and 35. I read the reviews on this restaurant and most were very good so we decided to try it for breakfast. My wife had a ham and cheese omelet with a side of sausage gravy and biscuits. I had the corned beef hash and eggs. I have to say the quality of the food was fantastic. He quantity of the food was overwhelming. When they delivered my dish, I immediately asked for a box to go. Divided the corned beef hash and ate the rest. My wife ate about half of her omelet. It was a lot of food and we enjoyed it. The bill plus tip was about $30.00 which I think was ok for the food. The service could have been better but lots of friendly staff roaming around. I checked the menu for lunch and dinner and it looked pretty interesting. We will go back and have dinner one night. The owner and his family have some history in Port Arkansas and the hurricane destruction. Looks like relocating to New Braunfels was a great thing for the town and the family!

We had dinner here based on reviews in trip advisor. Service was attentive and efficient. Drinks and food were fantastic (oysters, sliders, fish tacos). Prices very reasonable Our only hesitation is that the physical plant is run down and dingy. Bugs are present on the inside of the windows and seating surfaces are stained and scarred.A facelift would do wonders here.

His restaurant is housed in the old post office building in New Braunfels. We stopped in for lunch. The outside and inside of this building just ooze history. Hubby had a crawfish poâboy sandwich and I had shrimp and cheesy grits. They were both delicious. If you love seafood this is a must stop while in the area.

Restaurant is located in historic looking building in cute town of Gruene, a little off the beaten path. Would love to be seated on outside deck over looking the river on our next visit, too hot this time! Cheese sticks appetizer was good. Two fish taco dinners were ordered and both said they were very good. I ordered catfish dinner, it was ok. Our meals came out very quickly and before our appetizer. Service was very friendly.
