This place is mediocre at best charging for good quality. Chips were oily, over salted and tasted like fish. Who wants fishy taste with their burger??? Disgusting! Stupidly thin beef patty on burgers. Only good thing is the fresh salad and decent sized buns. Coffee was decently made but obviously burnt.

Yorkies makes chips from fresh rather than frozen. The curry sauce is tasty and not too spicy, the bread rolls fresh and the battered sausage I had was the best I have had in Australia. I will be back, its a great find

Had the buffet dinner. Huge selection of everything. Must commend my servers Nobu & Claire, very attentive and extremely nice and polite. Anything I asked for was done immediately with a smile. Claire also offered me a lot of advice for my travels in Australia. Hi J9053OJmarkc,Thank you so much for dining with us recently and we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed all the offerings as well as the attentive and polite service from both Claire & Nobu!We look forward to your next visit!!Best Regards,Cassie NunnAssistant Restaurant Manager - Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa.
The fish was very good with a decent assortment. A little pricey for a takeaway fish shop, but convenient.

First impression was good - very nice service, beautiful looking menu, free garlic bread and cheap fresh oysters! Really yummy and fresh! That's my 2 stars. Now we come to main. My husband ordered bugs with saus - he got a glass bowl of some liquid tasted like custard with couple of pieces of crustation floating around - hard to catch and overcooked. I ordered salmon - and it's hard to kill salmon. They managed it. It was dry as Sahara. So we asked to replace at least one of our meals and bring me the decent piece of salmon - when you pay $40 for a piece of fish you do expect it to be cooked perfect! The second piece of salmon was still dry, and it was still tail part even though I asked for the rib part the manager herself. And we still had to pay $60 for the bug that wasn't eatable at all and they saw we didn't eat it and complained about it... So if you go to this place - go for cheap drinks, free bread and beautiful oysters, don't waste your money on other seafood, they have no idea how to cook it! Oh, and when we were done with food we moved to bar area and faced some dirty table sloths... Woo hoo!
