we sought this place out again as we had enjoyed it so much a couple of years ago. we were not disappointed Its not glamorous, its very run down but its beautiful. sited next to the ferry jetty and small fishing harbour. the fish was fresh (why wouldn't it be?) and simply prepared, the skordalia served with one of the dishes is still the best i have ever had anywhere in Greece. the pumpkin flowers were simply lovely and salad rustic. wine was rough just how we like it. is also not priced for the tourists its a bit out of the way but we will keep returning.
All fishes are fresh. Food is very well cooked, with fish meat and veggie options. Service excellent nice, helpful and always with a smile. Prices very low. Portions large. A good place to have a nice lunch or dinner with friends or family.

Ta Kardasia (Τα ÎαÏνÏαÏια) Timeless and traditional Greek Cooked food, fresh meat and fish, tasty αppetizers and delicious pasta in a modern and friendly environment!
Ate here several times, the Octopus in wine, cuttlefish and squid are all good. There are several Greek dishes ready cooked available in the back are worth checking out. In my opinion best restaurant on the south harbour and good service well worth a visit. Best visited with a few people to try several dishes

If you find the big church then keep going, or the post office, you are in the right place. It's on a corner, there's an outer area that's under cover and more tables inside. You are in the right place if you see a half naked mermaid picture on the wall facing you as you go in! The owner, Giannis, is passionate about his food, so he offers no meat as he feels the smells spoil the flavours for the fish and veg eaters. We loved the koukia (broad beans) eaten with small salted fish, the ladotyri ('oily' cheese - just means it's been stored in oil), the salad (contained greengages) ... Then onto the octopus and tuna. We took the advice of Giannis on what was good. Washed down with lashings of good local wine or ouzo. Superb. Even the bread was delicious. Fresh fruit to finish. Oh, and it was only SEVENTY euros for the whole lot.Word of warning - don't turn up too early! We were first to arrive at 8pm and it was still filling up when we left much later. If you want to experience real Greek food, this is a good place to come.

A beautiful restaurant - cafeteria by the sea, inside the Yacht Club in Mytilene, Lesvos. Here you can try greek cuisine with a slight gourmet twist but for a more than affordable price.
Amazing service!!! Amazing really! Good food. Itâs the first restaurant Iâve ever visit by the sea that they donât serve seafood!!! Hahah really guys? Why? But, they have vegan options at least... And do something with smoking, we could not breathe:(

What an excellent recommendation this was. Great location, which was a little tricky to find so coming from Mytilene watch out for the turning on your right in this very small village. The taverna is located on the small harbour quay quite literally. As always, we ordered too much, but the food was so good that we left very little. We enjoyed the smoked haddock starter which is smoked not cooked so had a very fresh fish taste. The waiter recommended this with ouzo, which was really good. We had cheese pies, garlic sauce, french fries and the piece de resistance, a lovely grilled fresh fish the name of which I really don't remember. It is the type of place not to rush. Sit back and chill. Or at lunch, stroll to the end of the harbour and have a swim.

we have visited this restaurant with reading the blogs of some travellers. They recommended a lot in terms of service and also delicious sea foods with reasonable prices... We had dinner and also lunch in the same place and that was absolutely perfect experince. We definetely recommend octopus ( we had grilled) , calamar ( we had both grilled and also fried) also subye together with fried cheese and some other mezes. All were full of taste ( only crab we did not like a lot). Together with small Uzo (barbarani) we have paid around 60 ⬠for 5 people....

Traditional restaurant by the picturesque old port of Mytilene nearby the Byzantine Castle. Choose among a great variety of seafood and meat. There is also a big selection of vegan dishes. We look forward to serving you!
Everything we had there was very delicious. Traditional and also not expensive. Aurbegine salad, tzaziki, greek salad and many others. One time the service was quick and another time very slow. Anyway, good service.

We visit kalnterimi for dinner. I have to say all the fish food we ate was really tasteful and fresh. Only the octopus was really crunchy. Nice clean atmosphere with good music. I recommend it good for your pocket as well!
