Small, local resturant in a fishing port that sells freshly caught and grilled fish of all kinds. We had amazing, meaty, succulent brill for two, one of the best fish dishes I have eated in years. everything cooked on an outdoor grill with the family in the kitchen. Unhurried but attentive service

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon at this marisquira with some large portions of Arroz de Marisco and bottle of local Alverinho. The fresh fruit for dessert was fresh indeed. This family restaurant enjoys a good reputation among the local cognoscenti (several fine cars in the parking lot) whos spent several hours enjoying thier lunch. Their favorite was clearly the grilled sardines. We'll come back.

Good location very near the main canal. The decor is very average and so is the food. The presentation is nothing special and so is the taste. Big portions ,a bit tasteless.Price : moderate

I had great experience in this restaurant, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the seafood rice and "migas" that accompany the dish were also full of flavour. The prices are around 20â¬/person which is a very modest price for what you get.Give a try to the amazing coconut mousse, fresh and full of flavour.I'll definitely return to Marinhas.

If you don't know what to choose, the waiter shows you the fish. Taste is excellent. Positive surprise when receiving the bill. A must go in Aveiro.

Fantastic, Delicious Down-home Cooking, In Stylish, Appealing Setting, At The Edge Of A Lagoon.
After many years without going to that part of the world, I was taken to a very different Torreira, beautiful beach and fisherman village between the beautiful Ria de Aveiro and the Atlantic Ocean. I was taken to this small and simple restaurant by the Ria. And, what a great surprise... I had a wonderful fish, cooked (just grilled) to perfection and some beautiful clams and prawns to start with. It as simply great. The terrace is very pleasant, only the service is bit slow and desorganised.

Had the grilled squid, loved it. Simply fresh and authentic, focusing on the quality of the product rather than creating distractions. Reasonable price for the quality.

Traditional restaurant with portuguese cuisine and fresh fish and seafood, near the famous Ria de Aveiro.
Little busy restaurant, located in a very interesting place. Installations with simple and pleasant decoration. Efficient staff. The food was well cooked, but without any distinctive appearance. Good quality relation price. The wine list surprises for the quality of the wines offered.Excellent place to enjoy the landscape of the lagoon of Aveiro. I advise to walk the dirt paths along the shore. The ideal is to do it on foot or by bicycle. I did the car, circling slowly. At the pier you can see the typical boats of this region: The Moliceiro
