This new restaurant in San Giovanni has soon become our favorite place to eat out. Located just behind the beautiful town hall the restaurant not only serves quite interesting dishes (meat, fish and vegetarian), but for Tuscan standards a lot of efforts are put in the way the dishes are put on your plate. An interesting wine list, combined with expert advice and warm hospitality has made us come back already several times.

Visited here for lunch by chance after driving off motorway and finding this. Food was very good. All tasted very fresh. Wine and beer very good. Service was great, 2 young Italian ladies both tried very well to communicate in English to help us out. Great value for money. Seemed to be very popular with locals. Would recommend to others.

We had a five-star experience here, which I define as food quality exceeding expectations and something special in the service. The good-natured waitress had trouble explaining some dishes, and enlisted the enthusiastic help of a diner at a neighboring table. Our resulting seafood lunch was ample and delicious. Reasonable prices completed the nice time we had.

The restaurant doesnât look particularly attractive on the outside, but the interior is modern and bright.The menu was written exclusively in Italian, but with the assistance of our charming waitress, Gwendolina, we were able to order a variety of dishes. The Frito Misto was particularly enjoyable, as was the cheesecake that followed.This is a great place for lunch.

Thanks to the reviews on tripadvisor we had dinner. We went for a suggestion namely antipasto mix of seafood. Both raw and warm delights prepared by the chef!! Something different then the average cuisine. Money well spend!!

Took a taxi here from our villa and enjoyed a nice meal outside under a veranda. The pizzas were delicious. The seafood pasta dish left something to be desired with little recognizable seafood compared to similar dishes at other restaurants. It's in an industrial park on the other side if the highway fro Terrenuova Brocciolini.

Excellent restaurant in Montevarchi. The service is wonderful! The waitor was very friendly and did everything for our 11 months young baby. The antipasti were very large and some were best quality I ate in Italy. The Bistecca Fiorentina and Tagliata's were perfectly served, as well as the pizza's. And the price is very reasonable! A place you have to visit!

A surprise in Montevarchi where we stayed for one night.La Buca di Ipo offers delicious seafood (e.g. gran piatto crudo), pasta, pizza⦠Typical Italian food with very small prices. And the service is nice and excellent.Itâs better to eat outside (in the street but very few cars are passing).If you are staying in the Chianti, donât hesitate to visit La Buca di Ipo.Thank you very much
