I was super disappointed and did not get to experience the blue cave despite physically being there! I was seated in the back on the right side, and the people in front of us (who were able to experience the blue cave and saw the actual blue water in front of them) blocked my view completely. I understand that we couldn't get inside the cave more probably because of the high tide, but I was barely inside the cave because of where I was seated and saw nothing. And it wasn't like the tour guide didn't know that the water on my side did not appear blue! He pointed out the sea urchins on my side, which were only visible because the water was shallow and not deep enough to appear blue. So he knew! They could have told us to go on the tour at a different time when the high tide is over, but they didn't. Because there were only a total of 4 guests with no one else waiting, they could've had the two of us get on another boat by ourselves, so I could actually experience the blue cave, but they didn't (I understand they were trying to keep the cost down, but I paid for the tour and saw nothing!). The guide knew I couldn't see anything on my side. He could've changed the position of the boat when he turned the ship around and wait a little bit, so I could at least get a sense of what's happening inside the cave, but he didn't. All I got to experience was the comments of the people in front of me saying how amazing the cave was. Oh! And the seagulls. They probably knew the cave itself wasn't enough of an attraction because they gave you snacks to attract seagulls during the tour. It was quite a scene, but not why I signed up for the trip. So if you want to see lots of seagulls surrounding you and experience a seagull sitting on your helmet, then this trip is for you. If not, visit another blue cave. And if you really do want to go on this tour, make sure you are seated in the front, or at least on the left side if the front row is taken.

You need to use a vending styled machine to place your food orders, a little difficult if you can't read in Japanese but there are pictures before the entrance to assist you. Prices are reasonable given its by the beach. Don't except anything fancy this place is there to fuel you up. Many tables, clean and cooling during the summer months. Beautiful view point from the restaurant.
