This review for Fish & Co in Permaisuri City Mall.Likely decor of white "fish-net" like seats, contrast against the wooded paneling, ship's wheel, life buoy, paddles and added ship's port hole covers.Aside the decor nothing much to shout. Seafood chowder barely to chow down, grilled peri peri prawns were medium shrimps and worst a tad overcooked and dry. Perhaps the garden salad the best garnished with with some crispy fried anchovies.

What more can you all for? There are many stalls there selling local fares and seafood. It is not a touristy place. Loads of locals there, jogging, walling their dogs, children cycling etc. The food is really good. We went there twice, first time during dinner (about 5.30pm) & people were streaming in. Of you are lucky, you will probably be able to catch sine amazing sunsets! 2nd time we went during lunch and it was closed. So I assume that they are open only for dinner. We just had a snack of Midin (Ferns) cooked with sambal belacan. As can be seen from my pic, my mat salleh friend totally loved it! Oh and I did too. Definitely a really good bet for a great dinner in Miri.

Despite sending the bamboo shells back to the kitchen all the other seafood and vegetables were cooked with care. Good price for beer too. Watch out , portions are rather large and there is no menus. If you order for yourself , the portion always serves two !Just show what you want - done .
Must tried the local food when in Miri. The food serves are simple and delicious recommended by the lady waitress. Our orders are kuching laksa/kolo mee mixed/pan fried dumplings/herbal kway teow soup mixed/kolo mee with braised chicken feet, must come again next time.

The Fisherman Wharf offers mouthwatering food in an amazing ambience where you can spend your quality time with your friends and family. Our signature dish is the popular Shellout served with TFW Sambal Sauce.
I was here with the family for dinner. The place is usually packed so you have to book your table many days before. They have really fresh seafood to eat. Best to try the shell out where the minimum order is 300g of the seafood (e.g. crab, mussel, prawns, etc). You get to choose your sauce as well (mild, less spicy and really spicy). Overall, it was worth the price and taste.Thank you choosing to dine at TFW. We truly value every dollar you spend with us & hope your experience will bring you back. Thank you also for taking the extra time to write a positive review about it.

After many years did not try, went back last night. Fresh fish ordered wasn't great, doneness is ok, but taste was just too plain. Manichai was too watery. Sizzling tofu was horrible..the worst I ate in Miri. Pricing wise is ok, not on the high side.

Exceptional quality food and relaxed atmosphere next to the beach are two things you will find when you visit Dragon Seafood Restaurant. Seafood such as Lobster, Humpback Grouper, Miniatus Grouper and etc are regularly available in our aquarium tanks. We
Local relatives of ours have been coming to this restaurant for AGES. Their seafood is fresher than fresh. You make your order at the many tanks of fresh exotic seafood swimming around. Then you go and dine in the airconditioned indoor section or the open air outdoor section where you can hear waves crashing on the beach at Luak Bay. On weekends, this place attracts lots of muslim tourists from Brunei who spend lavishly. Book ahead if you have a large group. Recommended for foodies.

Virtually opposite the Miri Marriott. There are two venues, this one and the New Tanjung Restaurant. Both do great chinese food. Seating both inside and outside. Quick service, great food and cheap.
Been here a few times to this basic Chinese Seafood restaurant near Marriott Resort at Miri. Really great service and fabulous food. Try the Middin Fern with garlic. This is a green veg and alternative to kangkung. Itâs a local veg and truly delicious. The local caught Seafood is the best. The Red Fish and the prawns are so fresh and superbly cooked. Device is attentive. Price is very affordable. Highly recommended.

Read about this place and made a b-line for it. We werenât disappointed! The fish is so fresh, itâs swimming next to you before you make your selection, and the staff are very helpful. This was the best seafood we had in our time in Borneo. Overlook the decor, the food is worth it.
