But I was so disappointed that the attitude of the male shop staff was so terrible. He gave the first priority to the restaurant's convenience than customer's counterpart. Especially when he ignored people's waiting lines and said those who decided their order could enter first, I was really shocked.

After returning to Japan for the first time in 3 years, we were looking forward to returning to Kawahachi Unagi & Seafood and we weren't let down. Although the numbers of Unagi in Japan are falling rapidly due to fertilisation problems, Kawahachi has managed to keep sourcing quality Japanese eels rather than imported relatives and it really is noticeable in the taste and quality of the meat. Quirky staff and the out of the way location makes this restaurant a little off the beaten path, but it's worth the trip and effort.
