Gravity Tavern is a classic American Tavern featuring the highest quality ingredients and a regularly changing menu. Gravity features a full bar with many barrel aged bottled cocktails.
Although recently opened, and still getting out some of the kinks, Gravity Tavern offers a limited but good variety of menu options from fish to chicken to steak to a great burger and a unique lobster roll. Staff was genial and accommodating. Acoustics need some improvement as the noise level can be a bit overbearing while eating. Pricing is on the higher side, but the quality of the food was very good. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Lara, who was very interested in our experience. When all the not unexpected kinks are smoothed out, Gravity Tavern will be a "go-to" place for dinner in downtown Mill Valley.

Baja-style mexican with a California Twist! Enjoy outdoor casual dining right across from the water in beautiful Sausalito.
Found this lovely little taco place after a beautiful cycle along to Golden Gate Bridge to Salsalito. The homemade tortilla chips and dip were great and my fish tacos and accompaniments were delicious. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Locals and visitors from around the world have been enjoying fresh seafood in this 19th century Victorian building. A historic landmark and family owned for over 40 years, Scoma's is surrounded by the beauty of the San Francisco bay.
Sometimes timing is everything. On a day trip to Sausalito we hadn't booked ahead, despite our son's recommendation to do so. When we turned up, we could see that it was very busy but we asked if they might have a table. They did and we were asked if we preferred inside or out. We first took a look at the outside table but it was in full sun and to the side of the building, so not the best view, so we opted to go inside. It seems that just as we got inside, they had finished re-laying a table for two right in the window at the end, with a fantastic view out over the Bay. For my money, this was the best two seat table in the house, and we were just so lucky to get it.So, on to the food. We skipped starters, knowing how large American portions can be, and went straight for lazy cioppinos. What a treat! Full of tasty fish and shellfish, plus crab already taken from its shell (hence the lazy!). In an amazing tomatoey broth and with garlic bread. It was, without doubt, the best seafood stew I have had in many a year. After looking at the dessert menu, we somehow found space for a creme brulee for my wife an a zabaglione for me. Both heavenly.I wish we could go again tomorrow!!!

You line up and wait for your order to be placed and then you grab a table and wait for your fish. I had the fish tacos and they were spicy and tasty. My wife had a salad with crab and the others had what they described as a terrific Portuguese fish soup, a crab roll and fish and chips. We ate outside overlooking the bay in the sun.

Clean, comfortable eatery serving quality food in a comfortable surrounding. Mexico-style "poke"beautifully prepared with delicate chips and iceberg, lettuce slices, $14.00. Spicy tuna sushi, fresh, tasty, $10.00. Sticky ribs, warm, juicy and slowly cooked, $14,00 for 5 ribs. The server, Ashanti, was intelligent, knowledgeable and quick to our requests. She represented herself and her employer with style, grace and a sense of humor. If you like seafood, add this place to your list.
