Asian Food from Thai Express is Awesome - Starter - Try the Prawn Tom Yum Soup!!!Try the Crispy Duck and or the Beef Noodle Green Curry - The Flavours are superb and you wont go wrong this is not like the normal Chinese Restaurants where there is Gelatine Overload!!!!!

Loved the ocean basket in Blue Hills. It is greatly positioned. The "outside" is very lovely, not too hot, not too cold as it is covered. The food is really fresh. Really enjoyed the sushi, could have ate it all day long. The alcoholic beverages are not so great, they should find a bartender to mix their drinks. Overall good service.

I must admit, reading some reviews beforehand we were quite skeptical. That ended the second we set foot in the restaurant - we were greeted by management and staff, all wearing sailor's caps, quite a nice touch for a seafood restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. No less than two managers cam to chat to us, which I greatly appreciated. The menu has sufficient options, and the wine list was quite good also. An entrée of salty bread sticks with a wonderful sauce was delivered while we were browsing the menu, which we enjoyed. The food was very well presented, and delicious! We look forward to visiting again, perhaps for the "Fish Braai Sunday". I was starting to lose faith in Ocean Basket however i really wanted to go out for dinner this week and as it is January the rand is low which meant that Ocean Basket was our only option. To my surprise Gugu, a new waitress took such great care of us that i have to tell the world. We ordered a platter for 2 and a number of hot and cold beverages which she brought promptly. The fish was over cooked but the mussels and rice hit the spot. All in all it ended up being an enjoyable evening. Lots of spicy Portuguese food fair, Plenty of sizzling flavours.Staff are quite passionate about their brand and quite eager to accommodate.I'm not a chili fan, but there are plenty of other options available.As a franchise, the menu is pretty standard and reliable, but good average cuisine.Outdoor patio with big umbrellas and you can watch your car right in front of you - in case you are worried.The Centre is quieter than Carlswald, which is a bonus.This destination has the prime spot as it is right opposite the main gate.

I went to Mall of Africa recently and chose to have dinner at Wasabi restaurant. It has a wonderful layout and ambiance. The sushi was an explosion for the taste buds...my friend had their fish and chips which tasted just as good! I find Wasabi a bit pricey but definetly worth every cent!!
