Last Saturday evening, my husband, two daughters, one son-in-law and three grandsons joined me for a birthday dinner hosted by my sister who was unable to attend. (She lives in Florida and planned the surprise celebration.) As such, she engaged Manager Daniel Grubich who subsequently contacted me by phone to invite me to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Mr. Grubich and our server Adam. To say we were treated like royalty is an understatement. Everything we ordered was flawlessly prepared. The food was fresh and flavorful. I dined on the Coconut Shrimp and the House Salad. So yummy! My husband and one daughter requested the Trout, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My son-in-law savored the Fish Tacos. Two grandsons chose a Hamburger while the third devoured a Caesar Salad. Simply said, the food was divine! The piece de resistance, however, was the Jamaican Rum Pie. It was the most delicious dessert Iâve had in a long while.I canât say enough about the care, attention and exquisite service we all received that evening. Manager Grubich expended much effort in arranging and planning my birthday dinner. It was an event which will be forever etched in my memory.Daniel Grubich, Adam Cross and Mike Fisher, thank you.

This is one of our go-to restaurants when we want an excellent, relaxing meal. The food quality is always very good. They have such a large menu with so many good choices that it is difficult to choose what to order. My favorite dish at Chumps is the fried chicken tender toss salad. It is loaded with chicken and cheese and is best with honey mustard dressing. (Don't you love restaurants that bring you two servings of dressing instead of one?) Chumps always has an excellent beer selection with lots of choices on tap. Seating in this sports bar style restaurant is either inside (booths, tables, or bar) or outside on a large patio. Service is always prompt and friendly. They have a very well-trained staff.My only complaint is that when exiting the restaurant you walk out onto a rather narrow sidewalk with traffic whizzing by only inches from you. Perhaps a decorative iron fence could be erected at the edge of the sidewalk to keep patrons from walking directly out into traffic. Just be careful as you leave.When you're ready for a relaxing meal of quality food, T. J. Chumps should be your next stop!

Even though it was busy, we were seated quickly. The waitress was nice and helpful. The new Tomato Capresse salad with fresh basil was excellent. Always love the cheddar bay biscuits! The fresh salmon New Orleans was actually cooked perfectly. The broccoli was fresh Really an excellent meal. My son had popcorn shrimp that he loves, it looked fine. We go there often. Very pleasant atmosphere, great service, good food. The prices are in line for a restaurant with a fine atmosphere. Cheesecake Factory and PF Changâs are our primary restaurants for a semi upscale, but not snobby, experience. Only complaint is that a wider selection of food would be nice. Some say itâs an expensive Chinese restaurant. Thatâs not true. We do wish they would add at least a couple of traditional Chinese restaurant dishes. They have a number of spicy dishes. If you donât like spicy dishes, selection are reduced. Good appetizers.
