Our large group of ladies attended a mid-week luncheon here. We made advance reservations and arrived before noon. Our tables were ready for us. We were handed menus on arrival and told the food and drink specials by Joyce, our server. After our entire group was seated, our drink orders were taken. Soon baskets of delicious warm rolls arrived. After perusing the menu, many of us, including myself, decided to order the Reuben, $11.95. The sandwich was served on toasted marble rye bread. Inside were plenty of Corned Beef, Swiss cheese, Sauerkraut with 1,000 Island Dressing on the side along with generous amounts of Cole Slaw and Thumbolts (Tater Tots.) Presentation was lovely; the sandwiches were still hot. Although I normally would not order tater tots, these were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. All of us who ordered this sandwich enjoyed it thoroughly. Also popular was the Crossing Quesadillas, $12.95. Again, the presentation was quite attractive, served in warm tortillas cut into manageable servings. Diners had a choice of stuffed with Shrimp or Chicken plus Spinach, Peppers, Onions and Cheese served with side portions of Sour Cream, Guacamole and Pico de Gallo. This was a big hit with those who ordered it. Since the restaurant is known for their Black Bean Soup, several ladies ordered it with their meals and were happy with their choice. The lady next to me ordered one of the Specials - Seafood Enchiladas, $16.95. The two flour Tortillas were stuffed with Shrimp, Crabmeat and Cream Cheese topped with Green Chile, Tomatillo, Sauce and melted Jack Cheese. She chose the popular Chicken & Andoville Gumbo Soup as her side and declared both the soup & the Enchiladas winners. Service was attentive, beverage glasses refilled when needed and dishes cleared as we finished. No one had room for dessert although there were five choices on the menu for $6.95 each served with ice cream for $1.25 additional cost. The restaurant gradually got busier as the afternoon progressed. If I had any complaints it was that the inside room that we were in had very subdued lighting, it was difficult seeing the bill and trying to take photos. Several of us had cold air blowing on us, too. I suggest for lunch that you sit out on the enclosed porch where it is much brighter. The ambiance, though, was not why we came here; it was the restaurantâs reputation for good food and service that brought us here. Over the years, I have been to this restaurant for dinners several times even though it is not close to my home but this was my first visit for lunch. I was quite pleased with the varied Lunch Menu, prices and portion sizes.

Waterfront seafood bar & grille overlooking Melbourne Harbor Marina. Great sunsets while having cocktails or appetizers like Calamari or Bacon Wrapped Scallops. Daily dinner and lunch specials
that locals tried to keep a secret for themselves...so the place would'nt get too crowded...well... the secret's out. Boater's dock next to the restaurant, new tourists are finding out about the fresh daily seafood choices, and the people at the friendly bar "talk story" all day. Arty, one of the best bartenders in the county, will tell you that he knows that the secret's out about Ichabod's. by the number of people that ask for draft beer. They only ask once....no beer on draft. Did I mention the !!Great View!!... which just enhances the flavor of the best seafood in town... ( don't miss the crab cakes ), add a cold beverage, and it doesn't get much better than that...in Melbourne, Fl.......

We went here with a little trepidation after reading reviews for the other location. Weâve driven by here countless times admiring the mural and never gone in. Itâs a little hole in the wall where you eat outside at picnic tables but it was AMAZING!! The interior is very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. You can pick your seafood to take home and cook or eat it yourself, or dine outside. We chose to dine there. I got the spicy key west pink shrimp basket which came with potatoes, corn, sausage and garlic bread. My husband got the snow crab basket with mild and spicy seasoning on the side. It came out very quickly. We chowed down, barely stopping to talk. It was quite messy, as they cover all with a delicious garlic butter. But there are plenty of paper towels and wet naps when youâre done. This has quickly become a favorite stop and we canât wait to go back.

This rambling eclectic island style restaurant building complete with thatched roofs, mahogany bars, private beach, outside deck and band stand and some funky decor--is part of the historic Oleander Hotel that occupied this gorgeous waterfront property si
This is an amazing place if you are a fish/seafood lover but unfortunately I am not and I was with family that love it. There really wasnât much selection on the menu for me except wings and some sort chicken burger I believe but clean restaurant, excellent service and beautiful view of the water. I ordered the wings with bbq sauce that were nice and meaty but the sauce was very spicy and I had some intestinal issues for several days after eating them. Not a great place for me to eat but heaven for seafood lovers.

Eatery & bar serving seafood, sandwiches, wings & tacos amid a relaxed, beachy atmosphere.
We had dinner here with some friends. The service was great, the food was well priced given the location and everything was done perfectly. Very beachy / water side vibe.

Having flown into Orlando and driving to Satellite Beach, it was a tiring travel day and our family was starving! We decided to head to Shells for a late dinner. We all had crab legs and shrimp. Very tasty dinners and desserts with no complaints. Prices and service were also very good. Weâll be back next year!

A fine dining experience in Melbourne Beach. Djon's offers classic fine dining plus a wonderful, fun piano bar with live music every night. Djon's Steak and Lobster House offers a sumptuous menu with Certified Angus Beef steaks, lamb chops, veal chops and
As you enter this charming restaurant under its lovely canopy, through red double doors, you know that you will experience something special. A riot of colorful shades of red and plenty of wood surround the small reception area greet you. Large, lively French-themed art works vie for your attention. Subdued lighting calms the bright colors and art work. An attractive bar just inside the entrance entices you for cocktails. Or, sit by the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail while you listen to the live piano music performed nightly. Even dine alfresco when the weather is pleasant. Your choices are many.I made a reservation online during off-season for a Sunday evening requesting seating for two by a window at 6 PM in the main dining room. We arrived early and easily found parking in their private lot. The restaurant was not busy. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. Menus were handed to us as we sat down. James, our server, took our wine orders and returned with a basket of warm bread, which is shipped daily from New Jersey. He described the Chefâs Special and his own recommendation, which both sounded temping, but we were enticed to dine here for their Flavor! on the Space Coast Menu. It offered a $40 4-course price fixe dinner during the month of October. We ordered two different appetizers so that we could share; both were equally good. The six Escargots had a white wine, garlic, pesto cream sauce that was delicious. We sopped up the extra sauce with the bread; it was that good. The Calamari was a very generous portion, flash fried and served with a small pot of marinara sauce â we wished for a bit more sauce, though. We both ordered the House Salad; fresh dark greens were topped with cranberries, walnuts, tomatoes and blue cheese. It was chilled and very refreshing. We had a choice of five entrees on the Flavor! menu, but we both chose the 8-ounce USDA Filet Mignon served in a demi-glace over tender roasted fingerling potatoes. It was prepared rare to our specifications and was tender and very filling. Other choices on the Flavor! menu were Seared Salmon, Roasted Chicken, Tortellini Quattro Formaggi and Vegetarian. For dessert we ordered NY-Style Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie. My dessert came with a lit candle to celebrate my birthday. If you dine before 6:30 be sure to request the Early Dining Menu. Service throughout the meal was attentive; water glasses refilled, bread basket refreshed, even napkins refolded when we left the table. James was quite personable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I canât say enough about the beauty of the dining room. Tables are dressed in white linens with soft leather chairs. Large glass doors face the small side & back patios, white curtains dress the other two walls with long strands of small white lights. In the center is a striking chandelier over a large gleaming oval wood table with curtains draped around it. It is such a romantic setting. Lighting is subdued and it is a much quieter feeling than at the front area. If you want an upscale dining experience, with fine food, excellent service and a beautiful ambiance, you cannot top this restaurant. I have eaten here several times and am still impressed. Come early for a drink at the bar and stay late to listen to the piano music. As we departed, the sun was setting over the river, so we walked over to enjoy the view. It was the perfect ending for a perfect early birthday celebration.

Tried for first time after just moving to Palm Bay / Melbourne area. My wife had shrimp and I had the Grouper Onion Crusted. Both were fresh and very well cooked. Great sauces on the side for both dishes. Mashed potatoes were exceptional. Great Pineapple Cider Beer too that was locally brewed. Quality service and wait staff as well. Highly recommended, will be back to try some more fish dishes for sure!
