The restaurant is in the village centre. Nice decor, no air conditioning but the fans make it work. The moqueca is aboslutely great. We came back twice!

Everything we had there was tasty! The bruschettas were great and the risottos( mushroons and other with salmon, pinaple and champagne!) were outstanding! Seriously! I love risotto, so I have eaten in different places, I know what I'm talking about! The decoration is nice and because it's located a little out of the Main Street, it is a calm and romantic ambient.

The restaurant is placed on the beach in beautiful Guarajuba near Praia Do Forte. They serve good fish and meat dishes but especially their mouqueca dishes are well known. The prices are a bit high and the portions rather small, but the taste is always very good. We got a fish and prawn moqueca this time and enjoyed it together with very cold beers.

Brazil has great Italian food and if you are trying to run away from local food in Bahia Nega Fulo is a great choice. Great mood and décor. Very nice service and the food is especially good. Go for the risotto but the filet mignon is also very good. Be careful because in Brazil ârare meaât is usually âmedium rareâ.

We ate here on the first evening in the resort and had a very good meal. The staff were helpful and offered to move tables when a front one came free!Busy with locals, which is a good sign. I believe closed Sunday evenings.

Decent- leaning towards expensive prices, amount of food was ok, but I was still hungray afterwards. Food was nothing particularly great. After reading the other reviews on tripadvisor, I was kind of disappointed as I had expected more of this place.

Venha desfrutar do melhor da culinária baiana em um ambiente aconchegante no litoral norte da Bahia! #correvemprosombra sigam @restsombradamangueira
This restaurant is under a tree-- a massive mango tree well worth the trip in and of itself. There is a massive net that catches the mangos so you don't get boinked on the head if you eat outside. We never visit the coast without a stop here for the best in sea food and especially the mocquecas cannot be beaten. If you are staying along the coast in another town get instructions because it can be difficult to find the town. After you pass Imbassai about 10k down the road you swill see a sign but the road into Diogo is difficult as it is an acute right hand turn off the main high way running along the coast. Almost looks like a private road, but don't be deterred your there and a couple of Kms of cobble stone, speed bumps and you are there.Definitely worth the trouble.

Restaurante casual, especializado em frutos do mar pescados pelo proprietário. Ambiente agradável, rústico com espaço para crianças brincarem.
Do not think that an average rating means that it is not very good for its location. This is a pleasant quiet little restaurant that is simple in all its traits. The food is excellent for the beach community in which this restaurant is located. It is simple fare simply presented but fresh and of excellent quality, delicious catch of the day type fish, fresh salads and beer, presented by lovely people, in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Don't miss it if you pass that way.

Visiting Praia do Forte with my family.Stopped by Bistro da Xica to have a lateLunch. We were welcome by a very very simpatetic waitress that explained all the options of the menu, that was basically shrimps or fish or sun dryer meat. We have chosen the Shrimp with coconut cream for tree that was awesome, with rice with spices and âfarofa de bananaâ. As a desert our option was âcocada moleâ with cupuaçu ice cream!!! A must try!!!
