Ate here last night with a friend and it was simply super!!!! Just walking in I felt like I was thrown into the 1940's and the atmosphere was super-conducive for a relaxing evening!!! After being seated we were brought two matchbooks with our name on them.... it was pretty cool and a nice touch for a cool place!!!!!!! Started off with a glass of wine at a super price!!!...and they were pretty darn good!!! Next there is a giant salad bar loaded with all types of food!! I could have just eaten all the different foods at the salad bar and been happy and full.....but I didn't. My order was Veal Oscar and it was great!!! The veal was pounded and turned out delicate and tasty covered by a lot of crab in sauce... I also had asparagus via the Oscar and also a side dish of Brussel Sprouts...and they were perhaps the best rendition of that vegetable that I have ever had!! Very sweet and bacony!!!!!!! Our server, Rayetta, was great!!!! The restaurant has been around for 36-37 years and Rayetta is one of the original servers!!! She was awesome!!!!!! I know it's strictly based on perspective but this place was NOT expensive...my meal was around $25 and that is pretty cheap compared to other places I have eaten around the world!!! Just a great culinary experience. They even had a great cheese ball at the salad bar also...plus about 15 different homemade dressings!!!!!! This place is so close to I-71. Just get off on Route 30 and head west towards Mansfield. Get off at Reed Rd and the little restaurant road, Emma Lane, is just on the south side of Rt. 30. Lots of parking too!!!Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Appreciative reviews like yours helps fuel our desire to stay the course and offer the small touches that add to our guest' s dining experience. We certainly look forward to your next visit.

This my absolute favorite restaurant in the Mansfield area. We love the French onion soup and spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. There is a large variety of menu items that range from seafood to steak/ chicken. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and perfect for dress up or dress down. The staff is super friendly.
