We stumbled upon this restaurant near the station.Lovely, fresh, home cooked food. One of the best meals we had during a 2 week trip to Italy.Would recommend highly, it will test your Italian as well :-) ..Away from the tourist trap restaurants. My husband said it was the best seafood linguine and swordfish he had ever had, very generous portions of fresh fish.

Whatâs lovely little restaurant with delicious authentic local food!We shared as a starter the anchovy al limone...what a great starter! After that we picked a pasta al pesto and ravioli with spinach and ricotta. The pesto sauce was, without a doubt, the best we had in Cinque Terre. We finished our dinner with a delicious tiramisu. On top of that the waitress was very kind, speaking multiple languages and we had a nice speedy service. A great night and a good recommendation for pesto lovers.

Our tour leader took 14 of us to Il Grottino for lunch. We had a great experience tasting the pesto/pasta dish. Also had a nice antipasta platter and warm bread. No one went away disappointed.

Today we walked from Corniglia to Manorola via Valostra. We stopped at Valostra for lunch - lucky for us we managed to grab the last 6 seats at Trattoria LâArcobaleno. We enjoyed local wine from the vineyards of Valostra and one of the best meals in Italy so far. 2 of us thoroughly enjoyed the linguini agli scampi. I was devine. From start to finish a superb experience ending with espresso and grappa. Grazia mille Roberto and co. Thoroughly recommend this place 100%

I visited Tutti Fritti bu chance walking past. I got a large mixed serve of the fried calamari etc with fresh lemon for 8 euro.A great option whilst walking the streets of Riomaggiore. I only wish now I had read the reviews and asked for the tartare :)

Fried calamari, shrimp, muscles, Mediterranean fish, anchovies, cod ', vegetables in batter, chips ....... And all that it offers our sea !!!!!! YES reopens in spring !!!!!
First of all, most, if not all of the produce is cooked from frozen. Itâs not fresh.Itâs all deep fried, and wayyyy too salty. It was so salty it was inedible (literally, I stopped eating it).Whatâs super depressing is that they let it sit on trays where it goes luke warm and who knows how long itâs been sitting there. Maybe I got unlucky, maybe itâs always like this. All I know is it was not at all fresh and totally overpriced.

Rio Bistro offers a wide selection of fish, meat and wine. All first quality, selected by the chef on local availability. Wide selection of local wines and not, suggested to you by the sommelier. We look forward to lunch and dinner in the marina of Riomag
Michelin?,please!!!..My motherâs food was cold and lacked any presentation. My plate was fish with potatoes which was ok but again,no presentation.70 euros for a 2 main dishes and a bottle of water?.Never again.Trattoria La Grotta can show this guys a thing or two about cooking and presenting dishes.

Excellent starters of tuna tartare and amber jack carpaccio. Taglialoni vongole e bottarga was a particular highlight. The staff were wonderful, making sure we weren't blown away by the incoming weather. Our waitress was particularly accommodating and friendly and we had a great meal. If you're after seafood with a great view this is it!

We walked up the hill each night we were here to enjoy our gin and tonics and delicious food. The location is set amongst the buildings under the clock tower. Over looking the sea below and vine yards above. Hospitality is fantastic and the ladies who owned the cafe made us feel like locals after the 2nd visit. Sit and watch the tourists stroll by or the locals who meet on the bench every night for a chat. Worth the effort to walk up the hill

La Taverna Friendly Restaurant, great service, friendly staff, high quality cuisine, where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish and seafood.
We tried this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel. Based on other places we ate, this was just average. They appeared to be understaffed and there was only one waiter responsible for the entire inside portion. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to notice us and put in a drink order. Then at least another 5 to 10 minutes to get our drinks (just a draft beer and a spritz). We ordered 4 oysters which I donât recommend. They were very small and my husband and I both felt queasy later in the evening after eating. We both had the spaghetti with seafood in aluminum packet. It was ok but limited amounts of seafood compared to other places we ate. In summary, there are better places to eat in the area.
