Open fire's and cozy snugs await you .Locally sourced food from our award winning menu are on offer daily in the shadow of Croagh Patrick on the shores of Clew Bay. Come and visit
We recently spent 10 days in Ireland and I had the opportunity to experience seafood chowder at many locations including Dromoland Castle, Ashford Castle and at various restaurants and pubs; so the competition in comparison was high. The Tavern had the perfect blend of a great base and plenty of stock in the chowder. The taste was rich and it appeared as if I never ran out of fresh seafood in the bowl. Kudos to the chef! I'll come back here on my next trip to Ireland.Dear John W.What praise!!!! and to be mentioned within a very impressive list. Our chef is singing your comments from the roof top. Thank you so much for the lovely review. Hope it won't be too long before we offer you another tasting.....Kind RegardsRuth

P.Dan's Pub and Restaurant replaces the Ocean Lodge. Collaborating with the Big Style's Atlantic Lodge. Our pub has had a makeover but the view hasn't changed!
After a busy day travelling had a great dinner here. First a great selection of gin. Well done. Order taken quickly and efficiently for drinks then food. Limited but nice menu. Excellent food well cooked and served without delay. Magnificent view and a TV to watch the sport. 10/10.

With Family, Friends or that special someone Gaffney's Seafood Restaurant is the place to go. In the quaint village of Louisburgh on the west coast of Ireland, Gaffney's is situated just a ten minute walk from the local beach and a fifteen minute drive ou
This is a wonderful little restaurant that just screams of coziness and warmth in lovely Louisburgh. All of our meals were delicious and the staff was cheerful and entertaining. The decor is fabulous, especially the series of pictures that were taken as part of a magazine shoot (according to the locals at the table next to us). It is a stunning series taken right in the restaurant. This is a fine example of the treasure that is Louisburgh.
