We had booked a table here for a birthday meal on the beach, service was excellent as was the food. We had garlic prawns, calamari (which was amazing!!) and bruschetta to start followed by yellow curry and steak. Despite hesitations the steak was cooked beautifully! Followed by a special birthday chocolate molten lava cake which was gooey in all the right places! A shame there was a lack of atmosphere or people dining but the food is superb you have to try it!! Thank you to the team for making a special birthday extra special

We went there for dinner with 4 based on the positive reviews.Arrived - the place is empty - as we had booked still stayed... wish we had not.Ordered salads for starters which were ok but bland. Bread was stale. Pasta dish with prawn completely taste free. My pizza was horrible with gritty cheese and tasteless sausages. The Italian owner was apologetic and took both of the bill - I changed for a decent pasta with beef Raghu. Staff very friendly. In all when 2 of 4 dishes are a miss a disappointing experience. I understand why there was no one... apart from the location which is nice...

My family and me ate here after a heart dinner after a less than delicious dinner at Tasty Hesty.Prawns were big, fresh and deliciously cooked. Its was so juicy & good - my children finished 10 prawns in less than 10mins .... Owner / chef personally BBQ the meals herself and we made a special order for chicken Taliwang for my boys' lunch.The ambience is very relaxed and alfresco with no mozzies. Staff are attentive and always with a smile.Its probably about 1usd cheaper per dish if you ate next door but food quality, taste, ambience at Gulas Garden so much better.Tried abt 5 restaurants here at lombok kuta. This place gets my top vote for restaurant in Kuta.

We visited Tempatku after requesting recommendations for restaurants offer authentic Indonesian flavours, and this one was mentioned many times. We had been quite disappointed with several restaurants on Lombok serving us bland westernised versions of Indonesian dishes,and we were getting pretty desperate. Tempatku did not disappoint, it definitely lived up to the rave reviews we had received. I was so happy to finally find a delicious sate and everyone in our party of four loved their tasty meals as well. Every single dish was so beautifully presented, as pics of some of them will demonstrate. The service was fantastic, many of the staff members had great English and the chef was quickly able to adapt some dishes for our gluten-free member. Absolutely loved it all, entree, main and dessert! The only thing I would say is that the serve sizes are quite small, but the price is so reasonable that you can afford to order two of everything and still be paying less than at some of the more fancy restaurants! However, it's actually perfect for those who like to order dessert but can't normally fit it in (like me).

You get all your money worth spending in this restaurant. Food is good, view is even better!!!you can have drinks here while enjoying sunset view, or why not also order some early dinner, price is not too expensive and great selection for kids menu as well

We found this wonderful little restaurant at the end of our visit to Kuta Lombok but will be returning to it next year. It is a great little place run by a very jolly Scot called Stephen (possibly Steven) and the food is excellent. The fresh fish is absolutely superb and the service is very good. We also had a good bottle of wine, properly chilled, as well. I put it in the top two of my favourite restaurants in Kuta, a place we visit regularly.

We had a great dinner with my wife at the Santi Lounge. Great atmosphere after sunset next to the beach strip. Service was excellent. The food was excellent. The place was beautiful. Everything was perfect. My wife had a pasta which was delicious and I had Sumatran style slow cooked beef which was the best Indonesian dish I've had so far on our trip. Riviera was just recently re-opened right in the heart of Kuta, Lombok. Come for dinner - amazing pizzas, steaks, and the newly introduced tuna tataki. Stellar food, great wine list and very responsible prices. As the evening moves on, a great bar scene begins with great cocktails and a groovy mix of expats and tourists. its a story of an Italian couple who met far far away from their homeland, a spear Italian fisherman and a super Italian chef, he was her fish supplier before they fall for each other, in no time they got married and built a there dream together on a micro island in Indonesia (Gili Air ) and still building it, a resort with a 6 table Italian restaurant hidden in the heart of Gili Air, it's so romantic and inspiring.The food is super, felt like my wife and I are dinning in an Italian home in Sicilia.A great value of money.It was a fantastic honeymoon treat.
