Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The food was delicious, the sole cooked to perfection and so fresh, the chipirone in piment dâespelette so yummy and the salad with gambas and foie gras just perfect. We were served by the owner who really gave us great advice on the wine and food. Almost worth going to Pau just to eat here!!! We will be back.

We stopped in Pau for 2 nights (2 couples) and chose to eat at the Dauphin on our first night. One of the menus on offer was a set menu with great options - fish soup starters, a wonderful hake dish for main course. They also offered good meat options and lots of choice on desserts. It was so good we returned there the second night. I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly. If you go to Pau make sure you eat there.

Un restaurant specialité poisson,avec une poissonnerie ne peut-être qu'un bon restaurant qui vous propose des poissons grilles a la plancha,des fruits de mer frais,des huitres de qualité,des parilladas excellentes.Je fus surpris de trouver ce genre de restaurant dans une zone mi-commerciale,mi-industrielle et j'en suis très content et surtout très satisfait par la fraicheur des produits.Un service très agréable,trés efficace et une terrasse au calme.Amoureux des fruits de mer et de poissons grillés,je vous recommande cet établissement.
