The birthplace of the Oldsmobile and Michigan's automotive center, Lansing offers visitors a number of car-related sites like plant tours and automobile museums, but there are other forces driving this capital city. On the political side, there's the award-winning State Capitol Building, completely restored in 1992, where tourists are wowed by the glass-floor rotunda and acres of decorative handpainted surfaces. The Michigan Historical Museum, which boasts a great collection of items from Michigan's past, including a recreated copper mine, will please history buffs. Children and families will enjoy taking a camel ride at the Potter Park Zoo or spending the day biking through Sleepy Hollow State Park. On the cultural side, the nearby campus of Michigan State University is a must-see for the Kresge Museum and for the beautiful campus itself. Entertaining and educational attractions, great shopping, fabulous restaurants and a variety of affordable accommodations make Lansing worth the ride.

This was First time to this Guy Fieri visited dive. I did not see the show, so I do not have a reference point of a food item that was featured. It looks like a fish market but there are not a lot of fish in the showcase, so you really do not see what you are getting. My order was 20 chicken wings and a grouper dinner. They do not serve alcohol, so I had a bottled soft drink. What I liked:- Other than one wing is equal to two because they are a connected bat and flatsWhat I did not like:- The counter service experience was dicey at best. Communications were an issue- The wait time was 25 minutes which is unacceptable- The wings were smaller than average, very salty, breaded and did not have much meat- The wings are naked, and they do not offer a sauce option other than small packets of Peteâs hot sauce which is a joke- The grouper filet was over salted as were the fries - The ketchup option was Hunts ketchup packets which tasted lousy- Their featured tip option %âs are at 18, 20, and 25 for counter service!!!- I wanted the two-piece grouper dinner and got the one piece- The piece of grouper was small

My colleagues and I dined here. The happy hour appetizers were a nice treat-we shared their shrimp-tasty, with a little zip and enough for 5 people to have 2 or 3 chunks- and their spring bruschetta-goat cheese and blackberry compote, a bit non traditional but tasty. For odd reasons, each member of the group wound up eating seafood-scallops, shrimp, salmon and Arctic char/ All the dishes looked lovely and were tasty and generous portions. The service was efficient but unobtrusive. We passed on dessert-nothing looked all that fun. They have a lovely selection of dessert wines-maybe they should add a nice cheese or fruit course to accompany them!

Off the freeway so easy to meet friends. Service is friendly. Staff a bit mixed in their knowledge of the menu. Go if you like seafood. Meat available, but the menu is seafood and it is well prepared. Atmosphere is comfortable. The T-shirt crowd will be dining with you at price points where you might expect a bit more. Solid wine list fairly priced - 2.5 to 3 times retail.
