I like the food, but I cant get my wife to go back. The 1950's atmoshere is not what we want to endure. Some people like this knottypine 50's bar look. But while the food is great and I can over look the surroundings, my wife can not.. Part of the experience is the atmosphere. I can understand her position.. The food is still good . and at reasonable prices.

Formerly known as the Sansom Street Oyster House. Re-opened recently as The Oyster House. Would like to write a review.
It was an OMG experience. Both nights we ordered Dogfish Head IPA, oyster shooters, ginger beer, fried calamari, salad (1st night), fried shishito peppers (2nd night), and the piece de resistance, grilled whole Branzino fish which was accompanied with risotto and a green curry sauce. On the second evening, we asked if the chef could make the green curry sauce spicier and he did! This was one of the most incredible, memorable meals we've had. Both nights, the bill totaled slightly less than $100.. terrific value. We liked this restaurant much more than the nearby seafood restaurant. Highly recommended.
Had fried Chicken, cabbage and greens. Flavor was good and portion size was great as well. Its a little restaurant so you can seat in and wait for food as well as eat in if you want to.

We think that before long, Philadelphians will be putting down their cheesesteaks and picking up lobster rolls. Located post security, our restaurant is the perfect place to dine or take off with take-out.
I ate at the Philly airport in one of my major standby restaurantsâ¦Legal Sea Food. Today I had the pleasure of working with Syeeda G. as my server!!! Oh My God!!! (OMG) Syeeda was exceptional!!!! An unbelievable personality!!!........ Able to project a super conversation,â¦â¦â¦.. very adept at knowing the culinary side of her job and also recommending specific drinks for specific foods!!! She was literally the BEST!!!!! Syeeda is a major reason I continue to dine with Legal when flying through the airport!!! It gives me comfort to know that Iâll have a super-server to lead me through this great food and drink experience!!! I had a couple of different Sangrias, recommended by Syeeda and also had the great clam chowder and then a special watermelon/shrimp salad!!!!! It was super exceptional and very tasty!!!!!! I ended up with a watermelon based drink to keep hydrated as I consumed the salad!!! Everything about this experience today was great!!!!!! Thanks again to the cooks, servers, and everyone who works here to make this a cool place but mostlyâ¦.thanks to Syeeda G. for giving me a memorable experience here!!! Iâll be back!!!!!!

Arden was our server and she was very sweet and very attentive. Four of us dined. We started with raw clams and stuffed clams which were very good. Entrees were stuffed surf and turf and baked stuffed shrimp. All was great. Will be back on my next trip back home to Philly.

I have been going to Rosati's since I was a kid. They have the best water ice...always have. Their chocolate water ice tastes like your're eating fudge. You can buy pints and quarts of water ice, too, so that you always have some on hand at home.

An ultra-modern oasis in welcoming University City, Pod bends time, bringing fun-filled, futuristic dining into the present. The action starts in the lounge, where guests gather to sip colorful cocktails, people-watch and catch up with friends. Lunch and
Fusion style menu. Mid-range food at 'fine dining' prices.Based upon its reputation and reviews, our granddaughter reserved for four to help her celebrate hir university graduation. It is beautiful, and the dishes that were not sushi were rather good. The sashimi was worse than disappointing. The serving of 2 pieces of hirame was about the size of a quarter coin, but a bit thicker; price $6. In comparison, the macadamia chicken was a large serving and very good; price $20.In reviewing our total order, we'd consider POD to have quality appropriate for a mid-range restaurant. Except for the sashimi, the quantity of each dish was satisfactory. We did get a couple of unusual desserts that were okay: tasted above average with rather high prices (appropriate for a 'fine dining' establishment. The music is loud; therefore, to be heard across the table you have to be loud. This was not what any of us expected. In fact, it was so loud that it took awhile after we left for our hearing normal conversation to return.

Have been going here for decades...I remember when they had 20 steamed shrimp for $3.50 and 35 cent drafts, back in the 70âs...now itâs more expensive, but still good...Iâd like to see them stay open a little later at night...I like to eat late...have never had a bad meal here.
