We ate here on our first night in Lamai because it was close to our hotel! Food was good and came out fast. Apparently itâs the low season so not very busy at all! We had a cocktail as well which was good.The share platter selection 2 was really yum and good value! Try it out!

During our stay in Lamai beach we ate here numerous times. Absolutely loved the food and the enthusiastic and friendly staff of this family owned business. Must try is the streamed fish with lemon & chilli. Make sure you order some of the homemade chilli sauce - absolutely divine!Can't speak highly enough of this place and will be back here during our next trip.

Put your feet in the sand.... enjoy the âmusicâ of the sea and enjoy some good fish. I like that you can choose your sea-food directly from the desk behind the kitchen ( waiter weights it also in front of you). E.g. Red Snapper 60 thb/100 g. Good price to value. Only minus: Staff should keep the place clean ( cleaning tables when guests come/leave), pick up paper etc from floor when there is some.... It would take just s little effort to bring this place among the top 10 in Lamai!

We were walking past and decided to give this restaurant a try. I was a little worried with the very extensive menu including western and Thai food as we were only interested in Thai food. We were not disappointed. We had the sizzling fish fillet with sweet and sour sauce (large serving and very tasty), mixed vegetables (small serving but good) and a Niçoise salad. I guess thatâs not Thai but I hadnât had salad in weeks so was craving one. It was very good except canned tuna was used. I was a little disappointed. The service was good and staff friendly. Tablecloths and placemats give the open air restaurant a very comfortable feeling. I definitely recommend.

Yea I'm a guest staying at Renaissance, which TawaNN is one of there restaurants, but I'm writing this because I was so impressed with our meal tonight, I had to post. We had the shrimp cakes, green chicken curry, red pork and pineapple curry and for dessert it was bananas in coconut syrup. Sorry , no pic of dessert. This is my 6th trip to Thailand. 90% of all the meals I've had were Thai. I can't see the point of coming here and not eating Thai food. The green curry is the best I've ever had. I'm 47 and have had a lot and from a lot of countries. I asked for spicy and it was perfect. Great amount of heat, but wasn't overpowering. It was creamy and nothing left over. The red curry was awesome, but the green curry was the star dish. The starter of Thai fish cakes were fresh and delicate. I asked for sticky rice to be added to the banana and coconut syrup as I love sticky rice. My request was accommodated. In fact all of the staff were awesome. When we arrived, we were seated and presented with cold real face washers as well as insect repellent. Most of the restaurant is in the open, experience Thai food, climate and atmosphere all at the same time. The beers were cold and I could not fault their service or friendliness. The chef came and enquired about how desert was. He got a hug from me. The pic is of the wait staff and the chef that made my dessert. I was so full, I couldn't finish it. They put in a plastic container for me to take away. Now that's service. Do yourself a favor, go there. You won't regret it. Fantastic service, food and location. I had Thai food whilst my wife and son had Pizza. All the meals were authentic and good quality. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Would highly recommend. We also visited in the late afternoon following a day on the beach for drinks, again there was great service. Thank you for the super review. I am glad you had a great time and enjoyed our food and service.

Great beach front location, although out of the way. Baked mussels were sublime and we will definitely be going back to try the baked shrimp. Beautifully presented in simple style that allowed the flavour to shine through. The Thai lemon shrimp salad also did not disappoint. Definitely recommend!!

I have never tried oysters before, so now was the time. Oyster Bar X has several different types of oysters. We tried Tasmanian, Normandie and Barron Point. Waiter knew what he was talking about and explaned the differces between them, i still dont like oysters, but had a nice experience with this place. They also serve handcrafted import beer, and their own wine.
