We are always appreciative of the staff's suggestions. We tried the meatloaf and it was really good! In the past we have done the porkchops and his daily soups. All worthy of praise. Advice is appreciated too when we buy steaks and get even better cuts than we went in for.Best way to find this place is to go to the new Lake Forest Starbucks and walk thru the store and out the back courtyard entrance. You see the Daily Grind right in front of you.

I go to Lucky Fish several times a month with a buddy before listening to music elsewhere in Highwood.I can honestly say I have never had bad service, bad food, or a bad experience. From the moment you walk in you are greeted from the hostess to the moment you leave everyone is friendly, the food is fresh and well prepared, and the servers are helpful and enthusiastic!!When we were there two weeks ago on Tuesday night it was closed and had a sign that said open only Wednesday thru Sunday which was very disappointing to us.I hope they continue to do well and stay open!!

We just found Stevens which saves traveling several miles for when we want fine dining.Their shrimp cocktail with hot sauce is perfect. And, our Filet Mignon with a choice of three toppings was perfect. The deserts are homemade with the Apple Crisp with ice cream being outstanding.The service was attentive with excellent coordination between the servers which insured we did not have to ask for anything. The manager might want to practice smiling as his staff does.Enjoy.Hello Martin. Thank you for dining with us and providing us with some feedback. Being a vegetarian, Sushi choices are always limited. This restaurant has great options ... their combinations item for vegetarian on the menu has a great variety. Even my colleagues like the non veg options... the ambience is great and the place is very busy.
