This is one of the more popular restaurant in Nirwana Resort area. Well patronized on a Sat evening when visited. The set menu for six was without vegetable dish, it was good for about 7 average diners. The seafoods were fresh. Although price was high, service staff were attentive spoke with little English and Chinese. Overall it met our desired expectation.

One of the best things about Bintan Lagoon Resort is Nelayan, their dining resto beside the beach. They serve great food, with warm service and romantic ambience for an unforgettable dinner. I recommend ikan bakar, a meal of red snapper fillet, marinated in various spices, pan-seared and served with tomato sauce, bok choy veggies and a slice of lime. A cup of rice is served on the side. This dish is somewhat spicy, but truly tasty. You may want to get a good choice of refreshing drink to control the spicy flavor. I enjoyed this meal with a glass of cold Schweppes ginger ale. Nelayan offered very good service. Despite being with a large group, food was served almost at the same time, with some slight delays on the kebab.Don't forget this place when you are in Bintan Lagoon Resort. Guaranteed to level up your vacation experience.

Travelled to this restaurant by boat. Not ideal for walking difficulties as you need to climb up to the Kelong. It is not really a Kelong as it was located at the shore as Kelong typically located in the middle of the sea. The environment is. It so cosy but clean. The seafood is great especially the flower crab, mantis shrimp and fried Kang kong. dear tai shengthanks for your supporting
