Excellent food. One of the finest restaurants Iâve visited. Fish and seafood outstanding. Very tasty. The service is very friendly and the Proprietor has excellent choices for you. Iâve been their twice within a few days and will definitely go again.

The food at the bistro side of the restaurant was delicious. The assorted seafood/shellfish was an adventure in eating, down to the needle pick required for periwinkles. The lotte wrapped in bacon over sautéed cabbage with potatoes three ways was really good. Service was somewhat disjointed, but they seemed to be missing some staff at opening at 7:15 pm. We had to ask for the olives that came to another table as a nibble. Surprised that the staff was not more facile in English, but we managed with our french. Great sunset view, but must be there early, and with daylight savings time change soon, no view at all in the dark. In addition to the menu, there is a daily special; Thursday was the Lotte. Dear Mule54,We thank you very much for your comment. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your dinner at Le Bistrot. We have well noted your comments regarding the service and I will pass the information to the restaurant team in order to improuve themselve.Looking forward to welcoming you in a near future,Kind regards,Flora & the team

Très bel endroit mais le restaurant n'est plus ce qu'il était depuis le changement de propriétaire ! Plus de formule le midi en semaine, plus de menu. Uniquement la carte. Clients fidèles depuis longtemps nous n'y mettons plus les pieds !

We stopped about 11:15 am intending to only have a coffee. We each had a coffee sitting inside, but still with a view of the harbor. As we lingered, we decided that we needed to have lunch somewhere, and since a table out front with a better view opened up, we should just have it there. So, we moved to a different table, ordered a couple glasses of house white wine and ordered a lunch of oysters and a seafood tray.Excellent food. Friendly service from an English speaking staff. Reasonable pricing. What else could we ask for?

First visit to La Turballe & stopped for lunch. Seated on the terrace which is good for people watching. However there isn't much room between the tables - difficult to move chairs enough to sit down. Very relaxed atmosphere as only one person (pleasant enough) serving outside so quite a wait before seeing the menu or ordering the meal. My moules, although very hot, were quite tasteless. As the place was so busy I expected the chips that came with them to be fresh but I was sorely disappointed as they were dry, as though they had been double baked, heated up again & when biting into them some didn't even have anything inside! My husband tried dorado for the first time & said that was quite nice. There are so many restaurants in La Turballe to choose from that I wouldn't go back through choice.

Au Gré des Marées is a bar in huitres and seafoods, to have a rough time on the spot or to take. Selection of white wines to accompany your shells and shellfishes. Daily load - Cooking house. Continuous service(department) in season
We were recommended this restaurant by our host. It does just seafood but that was fine with us. The restaurant is small and the decor quite minimal. The young man who worked there was most helpful, even though his English was not good. He went put of his way to ensure all was well with our meal. We shared a platter of fruits of the sea, being oysters, welks, winkles, cockles and crevettes. It was a pleasant evening and we were able to park outside the place as well. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was fine for us. We would go again if this way.

Breton seafood is a specialty of the Neptune team. Philippe Cocardon, chef, you will discover the range of his talents acquired in the major French houses at Taillevent at Carre des Feuillants to name a few. Products The seafood are selected with great ca
We visited this restaurant twice in one week. It does great food, mainly seafood, and has a good, varied and interesting menu. The restaurant is nicely decorated, overlooks the sea, has a good atmosphere and the dishes were slightly unusual and interesting compared with others we visited in Le Croisic. The staff were welcoming and helpful on our first visit but on our second visit, we were served by a rude, brusque and unhelpful waiter who thought it was fine to slam down menus in front of us and bark out our orders. Despite this unpleasant individual we would revisit this restaurant because of its excellent quality of food.

Some of the best oysters and langoustines ever. Really good service and a great welcome. They do equally delicious looking non-fish dishes as well. Best to book in the evening at the weekend.

Friendly welcome and attentive staff. Great seafood menu and for carnivores it appeared a good selection. Visited for a celebration and it didn't disappoint. It was recommended by a local and his judgement good. Not surprised that it heads the list in the town.

We chose the menu with a starter of 4 oysters and terrine- to share. For main - les moules mariners - to drink we shared a 1/2 l Sauvignon. All in all a very great experience with polite service. Was able to speak a bit of English. Great value for money.
